[QUOTE="rockstar2006"]it looks crap evan on full wack with my 8800, and the game it self is ballsElfin

I had been thinking about getting this game but after this review I don't think I will.

i dont know why you arnt getting a game just because one person says they dont like it, i run it maxed on my 8800, the game looks decent (not great) and i love the gameplay, dont let one angry customer discourage you.

correct, my 8800gts320 runs around 50-55 idle and up to 70 under load, not at all surprissing that the GTX runs alot warmer, more memory, more shaders, and memory and core are clocked higher. but as said above, try to keep the card under 95-100, the thermal design of the cards i believe their overheat temp is around 122.

yes, that is another thing, crysis is supposed to be mutithreaded, so you should get a large boost compared to dual core users, and once they optomize it that framerate should jump up quite abit.

it really depends on what game you are running, if it is video card heavy, or cpu intensive, if you dont want your CPU holding you back just OC it abit.

cheers

the 8500 is significantly slower, the 8600 (and all of this is just an educated guess, could be way off) will likley handle it around 1280*1024 at medium settings, my guess is the 8500 will probably run it 1024*768 at low to low medium settings.
