[QUOTE="campzor"]its true that cs:s > Mw2 but cs1.6 > cs:s ;)GhoXThat's true. You don't want to know just how many people are still playing 1.6... You do understand that CS 1.6 and CS:S are the exact same game but with different graphics, right?

Lol Final Fantasy 1 & 2. Too bad Final Fantasy games weren't good until 4.BattleTurtlesI played FF3 on the DS and it was really boring compared to other FF games... I dunno if I should even bother with 1 and 2 :(
I don't understand the iPad. An iPhone I understand, an iMac I understand, but the iPad seems to be halfway inbetween... Confusing.locopathoThats the exact reason WHY Apple invented the the iPad... to fill the gap between a laptop and a phone
Yes, just like the Nintendo 64 expansion pack was a complete failure and nobody ever bought it? Or PS1 dual shock controllers that were introduced afterwards never took off and became a standard in PS2? Yes, history has proven it is completely impossible for Natal and Arc to succeed. Those technologies will be just like DualShock controllers :roll:History says a resounding NO. Famicom Disk Drive, Sega CD, Sega 32x, N64 DD. Add ons of this magnitude should be a new system. You're dividing the market anyway, and devs are more receptive to a new generation.

I am a bit loyal to some brands.
Logitech for PC accessories.
SeaGate or Western Digital for external/internal harddrives.
Sony for consoles, and TV's.
I do own other electronic brands, i got an Iomega 1Tb external, a 360, DS, etc.
It's just by and large i'll buy those brands becasue i like their quality and they have not failed me.
I love Logitech. I always buy Logitech gear for my PC :)I think you're always better of buying the best product for your money. Whatever gives you the best experience or the highest quality for the money you're parting with is the thing to buy; ignore the brand altogether. Doctor-McNinja
I agree with you, but "buying whatever product is best" doens't always work as planned. What if I liked the 360 steering wheel better, but liked Gran Turismo over Forza? Uh oh, looks like a have a great racing game without the correct steering wheel to support it with. I understand your point, but sometimes "buying whatever is better" doens't work out as well as you think. Its a headache, but sadly its true.
But yeah, I still agree with you overall :)
Whenever people hear the word "brand loyalty", the first thing that comes into their mind is a fanboy raving in a forum. But "brand loyalty" can mean something different to that. Brand loyalty means you like purchasing things from one company (because you appreciate their products, not because of fanboyism), rather than buying loads of things from multiple companies. For example, I have all three consoles, but I buy all my multiplat games for my 360. I also have a steering wheel to play Forza 3 with. Meanwhile, I refuse to buy a steering wheel for my PS3. Does this mean I am a fanboy because I have a steering wheel for my 360 and not my PS3? Of course not! Theres no reason to waste that money...
One of the main great things about brand loyalty is that you are streamlining your purchases through one company. Imagine owning 30 downloadable games across PSN, XBLA, WiiWare, Steam, Impulse, iPhone, iPad, etc. Confusing, no? Might as well just streamline all those purchases through one area. Oh, and you have only one Friends list to worry about when playing online, and not several.
As you can see, brand loyalty is more than just fanboyism. It makes thing feel simple, you don't have to expose your wallet or credit card number to multiple companies, and you only need one friends list. Xbox 360 is my main console, but it sucks that they dont have a (proper) gaming handheld system to connect to XBL as well (just wait for the Xpad coming soon! Just kidding!) Your thoughts? :)
