The picture was taken on New Years Day, 1981. One of my brothers had just gotten home from college and we were having a late Christmas celebration. Amongst all of that clutter, is an Atari VCS, a machine that would later be known as an Atari 2600. My first console was actually Pong but the 2600 was the item most responsible for my life long love of video games. What a long, strange trip it's been.

This weekend, the first ever Forza 2 Paintshop Union race weekend is taking place. If you haven't checked out the union, then do so. People are sharing and showing off some amazing creations.

Because of unexpected obligations of the Family kind, I'm afraid that I may miss the event all together. I was really looking forward to interacting with and crashing into the other members of the Union. If I do indeed miss the boat, I hope that everyone involved has a great time.

I've reached a point in Forza where the game's difficulty has begun to outpace my ability. At this level, a single mistake can mean the difference between victory and missing the podium all together.

While racing this morning, my eyes began to hurt and I realized that it was because for the previous ten or so minutes, I had forgotten to blink.:shock:

I may take a momentary break form my Career and focus on the Arcade mode. I would also like to spend some more time customizing my vehicles.

While scouring the web for examples of 914/6 racing liveries, I encountered this short video of a 914/6 being chased by a Porsche Boxter around Laguna Seca.

I've run so many virtual laps around Laguna Seca over the years that I've actually lost a bit of interest in the track but I still find it fascinating to see the real thing in motion. I don't know why but the real deal, seems to be a bit smaller than the virtual versions I've raced on over the years.

Activity rich but time poor. That's me. I have yet to add, Faster, Pu$$ycat! Kill! Kill! on either side but I think you can see where I'm going with this design. I'm starting to feel better about using the tools provided. I did not lose any hair, while creating my cat.

This represents one of the countless reasons why I, would love to visit Japan. Perhaps I will, someday.

It's far from perfect but I hope that what I was trying to create is apparent. This isn't easy. I have a new appreciation for all of the amazing paint schemes that I've seen.

I've just finished seven laps on Maple Valley Raceway. It's the first of four races in the 20th Century Supercar invitational. I was driving a 1967 Ferrari 330 P4.

The ten minutes and change that I spent driving the P4 around the track, was the very best ten minutes and change that I have ever had while playing a driving game. Simply amazing. I love Forza 2.
