Can't comment on FF14 as I haven't played it, but I would try it if it has that FF feel to it.

FF needs a return to its roots. FF8 was too much of a change for a lot of fans, and so FF9 regressed back into a more traditional style and feel, ultimately becoming one of their best titles. People relish in nostalgia, give fans a true Final FANTASY.

So what are they gonna do for all of us who have been subscribed this whole time? Give me free stuff for being a valued customer!

I like the way they designed the religion system this time around. In the last game (and I understand the reason why) the religions were all the same, so there was no benefit to one or the other. But in this game you can choose what traits your religion has even though it may contradict that religion in reality. Plus the Celts are where it's at!
