The waffle maker I would expect. The exclusivity to Dave and Busters is surprising. Although the waffle make looks cheap (as are a number of the D&B appliance prizes), I'd still get that just to have as a Sonic collectable.

I dig the obviousness of it being a Max Payne-alike, but the graphics stick out like a sore thumb, and that makes it hard to be excited for this. That trailer doesn't do a whole lot but say "Look, we recreated Max Payne with graphics that look like they came from the same year Max Payne was developed, but with vampires and werewolves", which isn't really all that appealing.

@alex33x: If go woke, go broke were true, nearly everything would go broke because nearly everything is woke. Woke seems to be the thing anti-woke likes to blame on everything. Anti-woke has become almost as exhausting as woke culture.

I'm bummed that they decided to wrap things up, especially when he teased for so long making a fifth movie, but after seeing it I was satisfied. Four movies is a lot for one man, even John Wick, and his journey does feel complete. The ending has meaning, Keanu is getting older, and the fourth film goes all out. If this truly is the last one, I can't complain. I can only say that I will be sad we don't get more. I don't think any of these spin offs they're doing can meet what 4 did, but hopefully whatever we get next will be good enough at least.

@j3diknightdave: There is no game that will ever be 100% perfect. I don't care what game you pull out, it will not be 100% perfect. Ocarina of Time? Nope. Gameplay and graphics weren't perfect. Still a 10. Metal Gear Solid? Nope. Looked terrible and the gameplay wasn't perfect, but it's still a 10. There are games that come pretty damn close, but if you want to find flaws in any game, you will find them. Doesn't mean they don't hit that high score.

They should have had Doom come next. Granted, Doom is quite a villain to bring in and then have to do someone else after is a tough follow up. But it would avoid this whole mutliverse/time travel complicated mess. Thanos at least was relatively simple and so we got very straight forward and simple stories from his villainy. They are overcomplicating Kang. I was excited for it with Loki. The teases were fun. I liked Quantimania overall, but their treatment of Kang was a head scratcher. I have no idea where they really go from here and the teases of other Kangs isn't as exciting as seeing The Conqueror brought to life. All of that said, I am not taking this seriously. They are enjoyable movies still in various degrees. I will continue to enjoy them for what they are without complaining.

@Jelster79: What are you talking about? FF7R had some of the best gameplay the franchise has ever produced.

@Barighm: I'll reiterate FF7R as a prime example of what cinematic gameplay can be. As far as I'm concerned, that was one of the best combat systems the franchise has ever had. I've tried going back and playing a lot of the other games and it's rough. As I said, turn based was fine for a time when technology was limited, but it's dull now. There's little excitement to be had navigating menus in combat, when you can have action filled spectacles with lots of gameplay options for combining tactics and excitement.

This might be the game I'm most excited for this year. I have enjoyed the direction FF has been heading and I will be interested in how this compares to FF7R, which for me is the pinnacle of FF, finally delivering on incredible, cinematic gameplay that it feels like Square has been trying to build towards since FFXII. I realize that it's hard to get away from turn based gameplay, but if the FF series can essentially make their action packed cut scenes full on playable, then I will have nothing to complain about when it comes to gameplay.

@GT3racer2187: FF has been better for leaving turn based behind. FF7R was the pinnacle of everything they've been working towards in every iteration. Turn based is no longer necessary. It was a good form of gameplay when the technology didn't allow for cinematic gameplay, but now we can basically play the cut scenes we've been watching since the original FF7 and there is absolutely no reason for Square to turn back.
