Played through it completely on PC, but my old lappy couldn't handle it the way it should be played, so I am interested in the PS5 version. However, I'm going to give it some time. I'd like to make sure the quality is where it should be.
Going to watch this crash and burn again in six months or less. With every major theater chain out there offering their own sub service, there is no reason to go back to Moviepass, especially when they're doing stuff like this.
That's too bad about the difficulty. I'm all for games having difficulty being an option, but I really wish they were made optional and not mandatory so that those of us who don't like the feeling of being punished could also enjoy these games. I've been greatly anticipating this game, but the fact that it's so tough is a massive turn off for me. Guess this will go on the long list of games I may get to eventually.
The only real motivating factor for this game for me has been the co-op gameplay. The fact the game plays well and it's co-op the entire game, save for the very beginning, is all I need. I'm okay with a bad story and characters for something like this.
@thecupidstunts: Zombie games make for good co-op, which we already don't get a whole lot of. While I agree to an extent, I will happily take more zombie co-op games.
There's no way this will live up to the original films. Those are some of the best action films of the past 20 years. Hopefully, at least, the show doesn't suck.
@hawtpickle: I find that reviews tend to set my expectations. This is a film I am massively anticipating, the original being one of my favorite of all time. If it's good, great, I get exactly what I want. If it's not, with what reviews tell me, I now know what I am getting in terms of quality. I can go into this film knowing that I may not get everything I want, but I'll still get a movie I will probably like. I can expect not to be disappointed.
