What a terrible slate of games, either really old or not worth playing. Why in the world would they add Crime Boss, which is probably one of the worst games to get a release in the last decade. Zau from last month alone was a better PS+ release than all of these combined.
That's a really solid lineup. I'll probably give Ghostrunner II a shot, even though I quit the first game at the first boss. Never played Tunic, so this will be an excuse to finally give it a go.
@plurmp: Idc what agenda gamers perceive journalists to have. Most reviews have been unanimous in saying the same thing about the story and characters, so I believe it, especially since the demo suggested much the same. And Idc what story and characters a game has as long as it's well developed. I don't write a game off because it doesn't jive with me socially or politically.
The lack of a good story and character development is disappointing. I wasn't overly thrilled with the gameplay because it's just really not what I am into, so I had hoped that the character development and story would be good enough to pull me in. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case. Oh well, at least the game is good.
Obviously New Vegas is going to be a new setting, but since the show is all supposed to be after the games timeline, who knows what state we'll see it in or what ending from the game they decide to follow, if any at all. I suspect Lucy and Cooper will get there later in the season. The Enclave will almost certainly be involved in season 2 as they will want their tech back.
Well, I was planning to play this, but I am not one for these punishing kinds of games and I don't feel like taking 10 hours to get to the point where this actually becomes enjoyable. I do not find overcoming those kinds of challenges fun. Guess I'll just have to find something else to play.
This franchise can't catch a break. It seems like every iteration of it they make since I don't remember when isn't worth it's namesake. I'll play just for the story and characters, but I'm glad my expectations are tempered.
