Now I was arguing last time with a friend. Apparently none of the games I've played in my whole lifetime will compare to the challenges that Fight Night Round 4 provides. I was in disagreement. I'd have to wonder wheter Fatal1ty considers this game worthy of e-sport material. But maybe I need to view this from a broader perspective.

Is Fight Night Round 4 really the ultimate benchmark of measuring an individuals skill to explain it as best as possible, the way my friend putted it. What do you guys think? Fight Night Round 4, out of all the availlable games? Really?

So...people can't have a different opinion than yours? Got it.

Being able to recognize quality is not an opinion. Your like/dislike of a game is your opinion. Your analysis of its quality is an objective assessment.

Reviews are a combination of the two.

Baloney. A singular human being cannot create an "objective" assessment of a game free of their own bias, personal viewpoints, perspective, life-experience, enjoyment, etc. Even if such a thing were possible, the result would be a completely detached review based upon some kind of "formula", one that would have no means of adjusting without invalidating its "human free" premise. - A person's "analysis of its quality" is an OPINION. Any attempt to escape this is MYSTICISM - which is anathema to any claim of "statistical soundness" or "scientific methodology". QED.

Thaaaank you.

Complete objectivity lacks the human element. And as far as I'm concerned, we're all human beings on these boards (contrary to those silly animal names you guys call eachother).

A = A.

But to someone, A can = good.

And to another, A can = bad.

If we view things from a philosophical perspective, then there is no wrong or good opinion. Person A enjoys the smell of roses. Person B enjoys the smell of garbage. Neither are wrong or good. Taking a look at it from a objective standpoint would, we both know that the intention of the creator/designer of this existance intended roses to smell good, and garbage bad.

Taste is something subjective. But it requires experience, a developed and sophisticated taste in certain things such as music and movies. Opinions might never be completely wrong, but thats just logic of language, and not reality.

Crytek are restrciting their creativity with their Far Cry jungle/island syndrome. I bet they could create an incredible Science Fiction / Horror Shooter. They seem affraid to start a new I.P.

-The Elder Scrolls V announcement, perhaps including a teaser.

-Alan Wake release date

-Diablo III new class announcements

Pretty much these would satisfy me enough :)

I'm personally looking forward to The Elder Scrolls V, Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2 and Mafia 2. I've gotten too picky over the years for some reason. Maybe because of the current state of the economy.

Edit: How could I forget Diablo III :P

Come to think of it. It may be a result of his puberty process.

He hasn't really experienced the outside world very well. But life has a little habit of "kicking you in the ass to remind you of your place in the world.''

You only pay attention to the hate, so you're under the delusion that hes being hated alot. Well, truth is hes not. There is much more praise and worship.

Besides, hate is a strong word. I suppose you could say to dislike.

The Earth is only a few thousand years old?

No!

SwampKitten

Maybe history was created yesterday.

I always get a chuckle of how "scientists" come up with these asenine dates of "millions of years ago this was here"..like you have any possible way of proving anything existed "millions" of years..our technology can't do that, and using math is a guess. Cracks me up when they come up with figures like this.

Math is hard facts. You're in a state of denial if you think otherwise. The bible doesn't provide any factual evidence eitherway.

[QUOTE="FragStains"]I know exactly who you are talking about...and I agree. Someone needs to take him out. I say tomorrow at recess. Ready?....Break!Xeros606

Not to mention hes a virgin. Ouch.

okay so is this someone on gamespot or someone in the real world?

Not anyone from GS :)

To be honest, the person isn't really in touch with reality as far as I'm aware. I think confidence is good, but not to the extent he bears it. He is under the impression that he wouldn't be nervous at all to talk with a celebrity. Perform a comedy show in front of an audience of thousands. Achieving to play Bach easily. And whatever else activity you can think of, where a normal sane person would look things more from realistic perspective.

Is this sign of him being delusional?
