For me, 2018 was pretty "meh." It had some great titles, for sure. But for some reason it felt like it was a bit of a drag. I am hoping 2019 will have a good run. Hoping to see things like Dying Light 2, DOOM, BL3, Cyberpunk, Metro, Rage 2, etc.
Not to mention RE2 is coming out here in less than a week, sooooo 2019 is already starting out good!
@xxmavr1kxx: Well, if they do it like they eventually did in D1, you won't be able to shoot other players unless you choose to go rogue with a button press, or already rogue. They knew that was a problem in D1, people purposely running into your fire in order to force you rogue. So they tweaked it.
@videogameninja: Yup, I wanted to play it so bad, but I knew those 30 minutes would just make me miserable for the next 2 weeks as I waited for release. I am forcing myself not to touch it until release, otherwise it would be torture.
Already got a 2080TI. But that game bundle is really nice for AMD. I can't even get Nvidia to give me ONE free game for buying their card. I was 3 days early on their free game deal, and they couldn't even cut me in on it.
Too bad all their "performance" updates seem to do nothing. The game became so laggy and the disconnects were so frequent, that you couldn't even get immersed into the game. And seeing as how many things like Workshops require you to stick to one server to reap any benefit, getting disconnected every 20-30 minutes ruins that part of the game.
Servers are so unstable, loot progression is awful, enemies despawn frequently so you can't loot them after killing, etc. Eventually the game just became a constant struggle to farm screws, which are ALWAYS in short supply. I feel like many of the performance problems would be fixed with private servers, but those seem to be a long ways away. Servers just got worse with time, and made the game very unfun. Nothing like having to do a quest 5 times because you keep getting disconnected before you can finish.
Oh and their "thank you" to fans was the Fallout Classic Collection, which everyone got for preordering the game anyways.
