Torchlight 2 was the climax of the IP, no doubt about it. It was fun, and the modders really added some great additional gameplay to keep the game going. If you want a real ARPG experience, nab Torchlight 2, not Infinite.

That being said, Torchlight Infinite is your typical F2P, like Diablo Immortal and Path of Exile. However, after playing a season to see how the game was, it was surprisingly less P2W than I was expecting from a F2P Mobile ARPG. I was expecting another Diablo Immortal "must-pay-real-money-to-get-anywhere" type of experience. However, I played the last season of Infinite without spending a dime, and completed the season just fine.

It is certainly no Torchlight 2. But it does scratch that ARPG itch to a degree, and you can play the game just fine without feeling like you are being forced to spend real money to progress.

I know they have to hold back in order to keep a PG-13 rating, because kids do love these movies too, and they are just as much for kids and they are for adults. But could you imagine how much crazier and awesome these movies could have been if they were all rated R?

That would have shown just how brutal the MCU could be to everyone involved in the movies.

Harrison Ford will always be Indiana Jones. No replacements will ever change that. It is just a shame that age takes its toll on all of us someday. Ford did a great job, and now he deserves his rest and relaxation.

With Ford being done, they should just conclude the final movie, give the character a fantastic goodbye, and leave it at that.

Though, to me, the Last Crusade was the true final movie of a trilogy, and that is how it will always be.

@nilsdoen: Plenty of games. A lot of people like Zelda(I personally haven't played it since SNES, but it is still a good IP), Outlast has a cult following for those who enjoy horror games, Redfall is a big AAA game aimed at people who like First Person Coop Looter-Shooters. System shock for those who want nostalgia of a fun old game.

Just nothing that interests you, it would seem. Hopefully next month will bring you something good, my friend.

Wow, how did I miss Outlast Trials releasing on the 18th? Been waiting to see that game for like 2+ years now.

Redfall is the big one though. I have VERY high hopes for that game, and I hope Arkane doesn't let me down. Although, I generally like all of Arkanes games, so adding vampires into a game that feels like Borderlands mixed with L4D2, all with it being Arkane, I have big hopes.

Surprised it even got a 7/10. For a game that was in dev hell for so long, along with being scrapped and redone multiple time, it seemed destined to be like a 4/10.

7/10 seems pretty good for a game we never thought we would see after all the years.

The bigger the gaming community grows, the more toxic and hostile it will become, unfortunately.

@texasgoldrush: Perhaps, but by my count, Square Enix has developed or published over 117 games in the past decade, and I can count on my fingers how many IP's were actually successful. Of course some games like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy do well, but the ratio of game releases to successful releases is quite terrible.

Which is sadly how many companies are now. It used to be each company owned themselves and they made their games how THEY wanted them made. Then conglomerates like EA, Activision, etc, all started buying up every company and driving them into the ground.

It really is just nothing short of tragic that all these golden companies are shells of their former selves nowadays.

Yeah, they used to be a wonderful company that released nothing but gold. Nowadays, they just drop the ball over and over and over.

It is sad to say that when I see a game being developed or published by SE, I automatically assume it is going to be shoddy, buggy, and bland.

Final Fantasy is the only thing I can think of that they generally get right.

And it isn't just them. So many of these gaming companies that used to be legends are all getting sold, bought out, taken over, dismantled, or claiming bankruptcy.

It bums me out.
