man, you should really have spread out your purchases. Buy one game at a time, and you'll probably end up paying less for the other games a couple of months down the road.

a 64 core game system in 2010...2 years from now.

Your concept for a PS4 would cost $25,000

Where are your stats that the game isn't selling well? Yeah, the launch was a bit troublesome, but they launch games in October and November so that they're ready for the morning of December 25th...that's when things really kick into high gear.

I've seen ads, during prime time TV. They don't paint the game as childish in the least...and using Go! Team music makes it pretty appealing for hipsters.

And, just so you know, Sony is still hemmoraging money over the PS3. They're far from abandoning it, they're trying their best to make it a profitable machine. Games like LBP will do wonders to bring the PS3 into the black.

I would not try it due to the fact that the PS3's power supply is located inside the system. With an external brick, you'd probably only risk blowing the power supply itself, but for the PS3...it'd be terrible if your $400 system went up in smoke because of voltage differences.

Personally, I would recommend playing it safe and buying a new Euro power cord. They're not that expensive, and they're certainly cheaper than replacing an entire console.

There's really no metric for what constitutes a "greatest hit." Each console manufacturer has their own qualification for a "greatest hit."

The Xbox 360's games are called Platinum Hits

The PS3's are called Greatest Hits

The Wii actually doesn't have a greatest hit system yet, but they probably will soon.

And, yeah, selling a million copies is pretty good for a game. Some sell a ton more, though. A million would be considered successful.

Publishers set the prices, but sometimes stores put discounts on the games they've bought to sell at retail. Whenever you buy something at a store, you're really just paying the retailer back for what they bought from the publisher, that's why sales can happen...at that point, the store owns the product and can do whatever they want with it.

Other times, publishers lower prices of games after they've been out for a while.

Hey, get over it. MM is dedicating themselves to this game and promise to deliver further content. The devs have to get paid somehow.

The great thing is, nobody's holding a gun to your head and forcing you to buy the DLC. If you want it, buy it. If you don't, no need to...you'll still have a ton of fun.

There's not a ton of difference between the PSN and XBL stores. Except for exclusives on each platform, everything is more or less there and fairly easy to navigate

I've found the PSN store a bit easier to get around than the XBL store, but it's not like either of them are really difficult to find the stuff that you want.

In terms of online gaming, it's a little different. PSN games aren't handled on central servers like XBL games are, therefore the game is only as good as the server you're playing on. Some companies have real nice speedy servers, while others aren't so great. It can be hit or miss, but there are connection problems on XBL as well.

Personally, I've found the PSN a ton faster for downloads, though. While XBL demos would take at least a few hours to download, PSN downloads are done in about a quarter of the time. This might just be how my PS3 is interfacing with my internet connection, but I've noticed a really major boost in speed.

Overall, I would say that PSN isn't at the level that XBL at this point. It's still playable and you'll have a ton of fun, but XBL has just had more time to mature over the PSN. I think PSN just needs to catch up a little bit and they'll be there.
