If you've played Oblivion, you'll be on very familiar ground with Fallout 3. Same team, same engine...there's a lot of similarities. Not to say that they haven't changed anything, though...they've added tons of stuff to make it stand out on its own, but in terms of basic framework, it will behave a lot like Oblivion.

The story itself isn't all that different from Fallout 1 or 2: You're a survivor leaving one of the Vaults after a nuclear war...the rest of the story follows from there.

I'm sure there will be some callbacks to the previous Fallout games, but not to the point where it really detriments the story. If you like RPGs in any sense, you'll likely be a fan of Fallout 3 as well.

75-80% connection is pretty good, honestly. The thing that's really interfering with your signal is the fact that it has to pass through (or around) a lot of material before it hits your PS3. Floors are kinda built to be sturdy, so the signal is going to have some problems making a 100% connection.

Your only real option is to either move the router closer to your PS3, or at least get it on the same floor as it (walls are much less solid than floors/ceilings)...or going the hard-wire route.

It's probably easier to get trophies if you play with other people. The game's designed for multiplayer, so the more the merrier. Getting the trophy for things like an 8x multiplier are pretty easy when you have 3 or 4 people playing at once.

So, have some fun and get some trophies!

Yeah...how about trying to just navigate to the site and trying it yourself?

Seriously, it'll take like 2 minutes.

No, plugging in that device will either do nothing or cause a conflict on the PS3's hardware. It's not something where that WiFi adapter can amplify the PS3's onboard wireless signal...things don't work that way.

Your better option is to probably get your PS3 closer to the source for WiFi in your house, or to just hard-wire the thing with an ethernet cord. Ethernet may not be as nice as WiFi, but it's almost always faster by a big margin.

You just need more experience working with the layers in the game and/or bolts. Things don't fall apart in the game for no reason at all. Either you're not properly securing things, or you're pushing the physics of the objects beyond what they can handle, and thus they destroy themselves instead of freaking out and bouncing all over the place.

I've been having a ton of fun with the game over the past few days. The ability to create a really fun level with little experience is great. The first level I'm making right now is shaping up pretty nicely, and that's with only a couple of hours of experience in the editor.

I can't wait to see what kind of stuff people will come up with by the end of the year and beyond. The creativity that this game allows is unprecedented (better even than Gary's Mod for HL2), and the fact that Media Molecule is going to support the game way after release with materials, costumes and other stuff is just great. This is honestly one of the first games I would truly call "next gen"

Isn't it a whole lot better to have more than you need, instead of not enough?

Plus, if you download HD movies as well as full games such as SOCOM from the store, that 80GB will fill up pretty quickly.
