I'm sure Nintendo have considered it. Seeing as it has little to do with the Mario kingdom, however, I doubt they'll include it. They could design something similar to it though.
Yeah, its no longer amazing, but its still cool. I'd go as far to say that its a step up visually. There are plenty of games that could benefit from it though, so I wouldn't call it gimmicky either.
I find that 3D takes a little while to get used to. Your friends will likely feel dizzy or get a headache the first time they view it. It was the same with me when I first played it. After a couple of days the effects wear off and you get used to it. Now its not really a problem.
[QUOTE="DealRogers"][QUOTE="TankZorz"][QUOTE="DealRogers"] Even with the 3D off I really doubt it is at 60fps. Why do you doubt it? That's what the framerate was measured at in speed tests before the 3DS was released in the U.S. Because I had the PS3 version and, some times it runs a little bit slower (during cutscenes and during certain attacks) with or without the 3D. You could be right, but the 3DS version is quite a different build to the PS3 version. There's no reason they couldn't tweak the game engine in order to hit that 60fps mark.
It's ok, but i've been holding back some cash for Cave Story, The Mercenaries and Ocarina. Seemingly i've got a long wait, so might have to buy a new game now.
If your game cases are turning yellow, it has more to do with the environment you're storing them in. My oldest Wii games, which are 5 years old, are still perfectly white. I did know a few people who's SNES's turned yellow years down the line, but most of them had smokers in the family or smoked themselves, and that stuff can suprisingly discolour lots of things.
Don't see how the analog stick could improve the movement myself. You can still tell that Mario 64 DS has 8-directional movement. That is to say that if I rotate the analog ever so slightly, he'll still run in the very same direction. There's no sensitivity either. The slightest push upward and he runs at full speed. It feels no different to using the D-pad. Well, besides the fact that the thumb is resting on an analog stick, of sorts.
I think its for the better myself. I'm not the biggest fighting game fan, but I quite enjoyed playing this the other day. Don't think I could put the time into playing this as much as the younger games and wouldn't fancy getting my ass handed to me every single game. If it were the other way around and I was genuinely good at this game, I still wouldn't care. What have I got to prove. Nobody else will care how good I am at the game. Besides, new players tend to play unpredictably, which is their biggest strength. Not the quick combo buttons.
