This has happened to me for the past two weeks. Whilst I know I had to give it a few days to get used to the 3D on the console, I still sometimes get that weird 3D effect on my laptop, especially when looking at black text on a white background. It's weird, but my eyes don't seem to strain or ache from the illusion. I think its more of a mental thing.
The collectables gives the free roam some purpose. I've got a good 5+ hours out of it so far. I could only imagine i'd have got bored long ago if there was nothing to do.
The key word here is 'might'. There's no evidence to support this, but the warnings are there to act as a safeguard. Apparently 1 in 10 people wont be able to view 3D because of problems with their eyes they wont yet know about. Apparently headaches are a symptom of such problems and they can occur with people of all ages.
Being an owner of a 360 and getting a 76% completion average on all my games, I can say that achievements aren't all that great. For sure it adds some life to old games, but most games have boring achievements that can either be collected on first playthrough or are tedious extras that involve collecting hidden items. Some games have decent achievements, but not too many. That and thee gamerscore exsists purely to convince people to buy more games, to go for higher scores, because they think that proves they're a better player or something. Again resulting in many companies throwing away points easily to encourage sales. The achievement system, in my opnion, is nothing more than a fad and that if any game is to make serious use of it in the future, they'll probably be built-in achievements, like in the Battlefield games.
I don't think you can. You can't really combine profiles. Either you recover this existing one you created through your PC and go for all your achievements again, or you take the one on your 360 online, which will result in registering a new gamertag.
Its hard for me to say which I prefer. I got into them around the time of Origin, and although that remains my favourite album, i'm still a big fan of Black Holes & Revelations. I really do like Undisclosed Desires too, which is a world away from the likes of Space Dementia and Megalomania.
Your account will only get banned if you were to log into Xbox Live through a modded console. Moving your profile onto a modded console and then back again, before going online, will not matter. I wouldn't recommend picking up achievements from any games though. In fact, I wouldn't recommend going near a modded console, full-stop.
Was really interested in this, but i'm not paying that much for a handheld console. I'll wait until christmas and see if the price drops. If not, i'll spend the money on the 360/Wii games i've missed out on over the year.
First party games aren't the only good games for the system. de Bklob, No More Heroes 1 & 2, MadWorld, World of Goo, Goldeneye, A Boy and his Blob, Boom Blox, Little Kings Story, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Zack & Wiki are all worthy mentions. And i'm sure many others can add to that list. Anyways, I bought a Wii because I knew the games would be different to those on offer on the 360/PS3.
