Microsanctions are well known rip-off schemes to make extra money. Although the concept is innocent, it'll be abused. I'm still pretty hyped for DQ9, but i'll read a few reviews and find out how long the main game is first. If its long enough, then i'll determine whether or not its worth paying for the extra content.

[QUOTE="derk4"]I'm really tired of all these games with cartoon graphics for the Wii. I mean, it's fine to have some cartoon graphics for games but they have too many!! It's time for more realistic graphics games!! (Like Call of Duty: World at War, StarWars: The Force Unleashed and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)psychobrew
I'm tired of it too so I try not to buy games with cartoon graphics, but sometimes I don't take a close enough look at the game before purchasing. Shaun White could have been so much better if it weren't a cartoon. I think the problem is the Japaneese developers tend to favor cartoons and it's the Japaneese developers who are making the most popular games for the Wii. This should change when western developers get their act together -- as long as they don't try to copy the Japaneese....

I don't understand where you're coming from. How would have more realistic looking graphics made Shaun White any better?

In terms of impact the GameBoy wins hands down. Until the end of the original Playstion era, it was comfortably the highest selling system in gaming histroy. It sold more units than the Mega Drive/Genesis and SNES put together and its version of Tetris is one of the highest selling games of all time. It proved that more powerful hardware, like the Sega Game Gear, couldn't always win a console war, and its collection of games is generally very strong. The DS still has had a stronger impact on the industry than most consoles. It is on course to become the highest selling console of all-time, it's library of games is incredibly unique and strong compared to other console currently on the market and it has expanded the gaming audience far greater than any console to date. None of this, however, determines which console is better. I couldn't give an opinion either. They're both really great consoles.

Yeah, like some peeps are saying, i've completed more games than I could count. What's more, is that I tend to keep hold of those which I complete so my games collection is prety big right now.

I've played the Mega Drive version and it's a classic. It's quite challenging and you'll have to use your brain a lot. It's one of those games you may find yourself planning your moves before execution, however it's so fun to play. If you've never ever played this before, it'll keep you engaged for quite some time!

If you're from the UK, you should check out the EDGE and GamesTM magazines. They list console values each month. Games on the other hand are too many to count. Sports titles are generally very cheap, as are popular platformers. RPG's tend to cost more because they are rare. I can't really give you any exact figures. You need to go investigate.

I still think the PS2 controller is the best controller for FPS games. Best shooting game on the PS2 has to be TimeSplitters 2 though. An absolute classic. It arguably has the greatest lifespan of any game i've ever played. It's so fun!

GameSpot also gave THPS 3 a 10, which is really undeserving. It's was a great game for its time, but little more.
