Why did you take the blue things out?

to clear cmos?

There should only be one blue thing (maybe dif color) and when your done it has to be in the right spot or else you could damage your computer. and the power should be diconnected when your doing that.

you could use some wire and twist tie the thing back on.

just make sure its on there good and wont fall off.

Well an inch from the ground it is, but the growth is a dot it looks like I got some rust on the plumbing :o

If its green and looks like cauliflower don't worry it falls off sooner or later.

If the bios sees the hard drive and its set to boot off the hard drive and it stll doesent work put the windows disk in and do the repair thing, if that doesent work i guess try installing windows over top itself without formating.
