rightfully bashed to the ground because of microtransaction. i like it when someone does occasionally do that, while 99% of all gamers have silently accepted this. IT IS STILL UNACCEPTABLE!! (<- this is not news)

i do like it though when you have to figure out a game yourself, without any tutorials or handholding. don't starve gives you only 3 hints in the form of dialogue ("you better get something to eat before night comes", "night is coming, i must prepare" and "did you hear that?") and they are no more than hints either. where do i find food? find out yourself! how do i prepare for night? find out yourself! what was that noise? eeeehmmmmmm.... But it works. And each playthrough and death you learn how to be more efficient, which plants and actions are good for your sanity, which aren't? is cooked food better than raw food? how can i survive longer in combat and not ? it is so motivating. damn, excuse my fanboyism here. i could go on and on. my point: leaving the players to figure it out themselves can work and can be very motivating and rewarding.

without having played this game myself i can't say if it is really as tedious as Scott describes, but he has a good few points. in don't starve you mine a boulder or fell a tree by hitting X for every swing, and the game adjusts to the speed of your X-presses, whereas pressing X once and watching your character do the rest of the work must indeed be quite the bore. the bus and the restricted inventory space also sounds very tedious.

hmm, i had such hope for this. What about the combat though? You didn't really say much about it, except it exists.

@iandizion713: revelations 2 was pretty sweet for a RE game in my opinion. even more so compared to re6.

the only devs/publishers that shouldn't be ashamed to do their job are indie-devs/publishers. day 1 dlcs, season passes, it's all so bad. so bad :( maybe i'll stop buying "big" games altogether. Uncharted 4 was very disappointing, Dark Souls 3 has amazing gameplay, but the world progression also feels very tedious after a relatively short while. And with the last update Dark Souls 3, like any other piece of $hit game, now has a menu point called "purchase Add-ons". It's not even small and at the bottom. It's right in the freaking middle and other than all the other menu points it's in capital letters so it sticks out so i can see it everytime. And yes, i see it freaking every time. What happened? Just what the hell happened? Dark Souls of all games. Like one of the last major games to be focused on good gameplay goes ahead and does this.

i loved this guy back in the day, but the last movie i saw him in was the expendables 3, and i really do not like him anymore, simply because he, everyone else, and the movie itself was sooooooooo bad. so bad, you couldn't even laugh it up anymore. Crazily bad, like the worst film i've ever seen.

Tom Hardy knows what roles to take. Or he dodged a bullet here. Either way, good for him.

The faces look nothing alike. But i guess it's true there aren't many blond women in this world, and there aren't many red bikinis either, plus there aren't many people doing the peace sign on selfies, so yeah i get her point..
