@Barighm: maybe the game still has to do with Evie and they ask the Winters because of their connection to her? no idea though. i'm just happy Chris looks more like Chris.
@reaperezekial: absolutely agree on crusade and jihad being long overdue from their names alone. i think they're trying to be over-careful now. i had to look up the Devils as well, but apparently "stone-throwing" has implications towards muslims, so it's not about the word Devils. As far as the others go, cleanse is a healthy magic card, but the combination of its name with its effect does sounds a bit racist. but it should be clear that black creatures are zombies, ghouls, vampires, demons, etc., so the word cleanse does make sense again. the depiction of actual people of colour are found in each of the five colours. hate-cards are of course a thing and should stay a thing in magic, it's not for nothing that each colour has two enemies and two allies. they just need to be more careful with the naming
@ngocphi: hmm you seem to think i care about reviews. i guess that's where you're wrong. if the same game would've gotten a 6 by gamespot or ign or whatever i would still love it. i usually form my own opinions. i'm totally fine with you and your 4 friends not liking the game, but don't suggest that most people who played the first didn't like it. that makes you a liar.
and this is just a suggestion: you should really try to focus your comments (if you care for a discussion). they're all over the place.
@ngocphi: "The vast majority of opinions are against the last of us 2 so you can't explain it other then the infamous disconnect" well that is just the point where you are wrong. yes the few that are disappointed are very loud. very loud indeed. but that doesn't make them the majority by any means. you should probably look up the sales numbers for this game.
"Great examples of bad story writing for examples ingame this game well there is plenty forcing the users to play Joels killer even after we see the shocking death that fans hated" it's so painful to hear this so often. you are repeating each other. i hope one day you can think for yourself. Joel's death was great storywise and and amazing plotpoint to start the game with and drive you forward. showing empathy is probably not your strong suit, sadly. with it you would understand the game better and like it better, i'm sure.
@walkerigp: because you wrote "Well written stories are understood from beginning to end with crystal clear clarity" which generalizes beyond the last of us. it is also an opinion i do not share at all. i like being challenged and having to think about stuff and how events in stories make me feel. crystal clear stories are honestly the most boring ones.
well uncharted is great, last of us is great, maybe it's time for a new IP? naughty dog did a lot for their name in the past 10 years, they would definitely be ahead compared to lesser known devs creating a new IP. people know their games are of high-quality.
