@Sound_Demon: yes, i was so glad when i heard the 3rd season is the last. as of now the show is so dense (no filler anywhere) and incredibly intruiging and it would be a shame to see it water down.

it`s also the only show i ever watched where i sometimes had to pause and set things straight for myself during the first season. it gets easier once you know the characters.

Shame this series lost its quality to greed. It's weird though that some things are still unexplained, even though they apparently planned the series out. My personal ending to the series is where Juliet hits the bomb. It´s a good climax (also well overdue at that point already) and a good sort of open end, where everyone is most likely dead.

did you guys see the amount of detail in the world? every single streetsign is readable, and there are a lot of different ones for all the different areas (e.g. the neighbourhood watch in hillcrest) and all of the letters or advertisers you find on pinboards, 99% are readable, all the info and educational posters in the hospital,.... holy cow! never seen anything this immersive and detailed in a videogame. i know, i know, i'm oozing fanboy right now, i'm sorry.

@Shadow_Dancer: oh my, i can only imagine it being horrible to play a character you really despise for half the game. i liked Abby pretty much from when i took control of her, so for me it was an amazingly huge game from start to finish.

yes, the game wants to show you that Abby, the person who killed Joel, is not much different from Joel and Ellie. that she also has other sides, friendships and a life she cares about.

the themes are very mature (though i'm NOT calling anyone who dislikes the game immature) and require a lot of empathy.

@Armandrik: hmm. I'm not sure Abby fully shares her father's resolution. She says she'd wanted him to not hesitate if it was Abby, but then he doesn't say anything and she looks really sad as if she wanted him to say "i love you and i would never do this if it was you". but then, he is a doctor after all, so that would explain his relative soberness.

i never expected Joel to be a big part of this game. the early infos were always about Ellie going on a quest for revenge. i thought Joel might be too old or even might have died inbetween the two games. is this part of what got some people so mad? they thought Joel would be a large part of the game?

@analgrin: i noticed one pretty helpful bug yesterday. the very last encounter on ellie's day 3 where you have to steer your boat through a house occupied by seraphites (they start off shooting some wolves in a boat to alert the player). if you go all the way to the right of the house and prone against the bushes before you actually enter the house there is a perspective where most of the game world is gone but you still see the enemies walking around (you actually only see their jackets and pants, it's pretty funny). they look like they're walking on air because they're all on the 2nd floor. it's super handy to see how many there are (the wolves can kill some of them, so the numbers can change) and where.

also: how cool is going prone in shallow water!

@deviltaz35: yeah, but the farm is like 2 years later or something? they surely crafted a lot of med kits inbetween ;) to be fair Ellie should not look the way she looks after all she's been through, but that's a part of the game i'm willing to accept.

@kahnkane: sorry to hear that. is the issue for you that she killed Joel or did you think Abby was just not fleshed out enough?

i sort of immediately bonded with Abby and soaked up everything shown from "her world". the stadium bit at the beginning was just amazing.

@blindbsnake: yeah, when Abby offed Joel and Ellie was screaming "i'll kill you!" i was totally with Ellie at that moment. but as the story progresses you start to understand that Abby's reason for killing Joel is no different from what Ellie is doing. In fact Ellie is even more ruthless.
