Yea, my worst week has finally come to a conclusion. Theory isn't quite where I want it but we are now moving off of maternity to med surge. Which is a good thing. So I gotta bring up theroy to form a nice buffer on it for the final. I have three more tests before the final to bring it up and with med surg being the topic I can totally do that.

So to celebrate I went and got sushi with some nursing students. I split a large sake and got a sapporo beer. It was good and a lot of fun. w00t w00t.

Well as test #3 approaches tomorrow, I can't help but feel like I am utterly exausted. My studying over the weekend of 15 minutes on then I would get distracted for 30. I did get some good reading done, but how much was retained is another story. We shall see how the test goes. I'm hoping it goes well. I still have a naso gastric insertioncheck off on monday. Then that tuesday I have another Nursing Theory test. Finally I get my break. Haha, just another week or so and I can relax for a bit.

I finally got the idea to take my webcam on my desktop and hook it up to my laptop. It records decently, I got some videos me doing street fighter IV. Not my best work clearly, and I am still working on adjusting the settings to get the best visuals for it. As it stands right now, its eh, ok. Better positioning and some setting tweaks and it could look pretty good. Which well is a good thing. Video

*yawns* Time to hit the books more tonight, bad company 2 came out and I wonder if I'll even be able to play it. I guess I'll find out.I doubt it though, probably will take forever to download off of steam. Which is ok, I'm not opposed to that. End of Eternity comes out on the 9th, which is on the same day as my theory test. So hopefully that will be when it gets in stores so I can sit down and really enjoy it for a few days before the work piles up again.

Well, two tests down and two more to go till I get a slight break. SO far I have gotten a 72 and a 76 ^^ . Both passing. The 72 was due to anxiety, and I just flubbed a lot of easy questions. The 76 was mainly due to semantics. The proffessor writes a lot of tricky questions that push you in one direction thats the wrong way. It sucks but thats ok. Just gotta get better at it.

With that, I haven't had much time to game or do much at all except study. I pre ordered Bad Company 2 on PC. The demo is cool, its no Battle field 2 but it will suffice for the time being. Runs well enough on my old rig. (three years old haha) Bleh, oh well. I plan on upgrading once I get my RN License. So thats fine. hehe.

Man thats it? Its been so long and thats all I have to say? Bummer, oh. I am thinking of picking up Wild Arms 1 and 2 even though I know I won't have time to play them. Haha. How are they, I have heard only good things about them.

Its good to have legit copies of those, I have two others that need to be replaced and that will be done in due time. No rush, though I have about 7 more cd's I want to order I will have to put all that on hold for the time being.

ICk, another birthday. I always hate birthdays, everyone expects you to make it special or do something fun. Its just anotehr day. I'm glad I don't have to go school that days since its this Saturday the 13th. A lot of extended family is coming in for that day which is cool, I just have a big test on Tuesday haha. I have decided not to make a new sig but change the opening picture for my blog. Which will be nice since the glaring flaws in the picture I have now annoy me, and its such a basic design, hopefully my newly acquired photo shop skills will help.

Oh a friend got my Raiden IV on xbox, i am was always a fan of Raiden as a simple fun shmup. Its even more fun cause I get to use my TE stick with it haha. w00t

@Marthurin : SinceI don't know how to do that cool thing you do where it send me a message I'll do it like this. I got this first book of the wheel of time and got half way through it. I donno why, maybe its because he is too descriptive, but I'll have to try it again.

@ LJ I haven't tried LOTR, I should also try that, heard they were better than the movies (which I thought were ok)

Pursuit

It seems my palet for video game genre preferences is vastly changing. I have been shifting a lot more towards JRPG's from WRPG I think Morrowind was just too good. I didn't like Oblivion, Mass Effect and Fall Out were never finished. I've been meaning to beat fall out but eh, never got around to it. Of course JRPG's haven't wow'd me much this gen. IU was ok, TLR was great but had flaws keeping it from being amazing, and SO4 was good. I find myself drawn to more story telling than gameplay. With Professor Layton and Ace Attorney being some of the high lights of gaming for me these last 6 months, I'm noticing bad writing and its just a big turn off for me. These games offer some simple presentation, but their writing is just amazing. I like the interactive novel feel of them. Now why can't I just read books? It doesn't make sense to me. I have a running fantasy in my head and well some of the fantasy books i have read don't compare, but anyone has some recommendations for some fantasy books (I'm a sucker for swords and magic) please let me know!

I did my first week at clinical today. Though, to my surprise I was making accurate judgements off of limited information. I was finally critically thinking about my patients conditions and why they were like that. What the pains they had and why they had them and what my be causing them. It was quite nice, the nurse I was working with agreed with me on everything,but he already had come to these conclusions. Though, he is a trained proffessional. It made me feel good to finally be coming to terms with my ability to think straight and correctly about these conditions. I also think that playing the Ace Attorney games are helping me connect dots, and start thinking in a critical manner, but I could be giving them too much credit. But I think it makes for a better story and I sitll think they help haha. It was a good weekend, I got a lot of work done not enoug hthoug. I'll be spending the next 4 or 5 hours studying so that will be nice.

I'm also going to make a new sig. That will help expell some creative energy. w00t

I got this in yesterday started it today. I'm smitten all over again, Wright seems like a great character. And the music is just as a catchy as apollo justice! Ugh this means I'll have to throw down another 70$ for the ace attorney 1 and 2 sound track set!

Woo, it came in today. Its very exciting and its soo good. makes me wish I had better speakers the quality very good. This one I can definately tell is legit unlike the others haha. Which is very nice to say the least for a cd that is slightly rare and hopefully will become more rare as time goes on. Either way its excellent. I guess my favorite is the last song, but thats just because I finished Apollo Justice earlier. Its nice to get a good change up from my RPG music as I am starting to dabble into more VG music I'll be ordering Katamari Damacy soon. I need to get Apollo Justice OST too as I downloaded it and now feel guilty since I enjoyed it so much. If you have any recomendation hit me up. I'll leave you with this.

Well, I ordered some VG music off of ebay, but as soon as I did it. I just got a bad feeling. I ordered Parasite eve, FF tactics, Chrono cross, and Motio Sakuraba Star OCean and VP live. His prices were about 5-10 dollars cheaper than normal retail. I'm just wondering if I got scammed. I compared the art of cd's to ones online and they check out, but I am still skeptical. Its bothers me some, but in the end the music is good. So I guess I'll just accept it as right. haha. I orderd my Ace Attorney orchestra album off someone else so I hope that one goes over well. I don't want to post up his name, because I don't want to slander him without any proof. I bought SO 4 from Anime Cast on ebay I am pretty sure that one is a knock off. The art work is off, and it didn't come with the DVD so live and learn right. I'll just have to order that again.
