You know, I could say it's wrong and inhumane, but I'm sure if I were given the incentive I would have no problem with it.SaugaGames

Thats true of basically any act..the government conducted experiments on exactly such a thing (Google "The Manipulation of Human Behavior" to see).

People will talk, but they're just as likely to be lying as to be telling the truth. Of course theres also the matter of it being illegal under national, military, and international, and inhumane to an extreme degree. Thats not even bringing up the fact that it does more harm than good by serving as a recruiting tool for the really bad extremists out there..not the taxi drivers who are what much of Guantanamo and Abu Ghraid consist of.

Nope, no torture for me thanks.

Not possible because Dell doesn't use the ATX form factor.

Bad luck, dude, you will need to replace the case, motherboard and PSU, before even thinking about upgrading the graphics card to a HD3850/HD3870.

This is why not many people here like Dell.

Wesker776

Now THATS not one I've heard before, what form factor do they use? :|

[QUOTE="LouieV13"]Well first you need a new power supply. After that you need a PCi-E16x motherboard.LouieV13

The motherboard is fine, its got an PCIe x16 slot (Dell C521), but he'll need a new case and PSU.

Small form factor :? sorry you have to look for SFF cards now and the best is a 8400GS...

Heck no, replace the case..its cheaper and better for cooling, etc. as well.

[QUOTE="LouieV13"]Even my uncle (who works for AMD/ATi) admits that ATi is terrible at making drivers. The HD 3870 WILL be better than the 8800GT after a few driver updates.Indestructible2
Even if you overclock the HD 3870 a good bit it'll come close to possibly beat 8800GT,but once ATI ha newer drivers out,HD 3870 will hurt 8800GT real bad.

Overclocked the thing is pretty much destroying everything out there less than a 8800GTX already, once they get some better drivers..my god.

Well some GPUs need PCI-E power connectors to work, the HD3870 is one of them I believe so if your power supply doesn't have one you can't exactly run it. As for the dimensions themselves, its about 9" (9 & 3/4" when the PCI-E connector is on) so unless you are running a minitower (maybe not even then, don't know) you shouldn't have any trouble fitting it.

Frankly OP...I was planning to get another monitor at some point and use a dual-monitor configuration..whats the best I can do for non-TN monitors (preferrably not crushingly expensive)?
