Well, you do know you're going to have to clean off old thermal paste and re-apply new stuff, I hope.

Apart from that, you shouldn't have to do anything - flashing your BIOS to the latest version (before-hand) might be a good idea.

yea i knew about the paste lol, but thanks..do do i flash the bios? I read online how to update them but it said id need a floppy drive but i dont have one...

i dont realy have a budget but i would like to go cheap...I plan on getting vista in the fall....I dont really play that many games on my computer but want to run vista with aero and maybe some shooters like battlefield
