1. Is connecting to the internet with the 40 or 80 gig like the PSP, DS, or Wii, where you search for an access point and wirelessly connect?
2. I hear on the COD4 forums that 1. The servers are f'ed in the a right now and i was wondering if and when they are gonna get fixed, also it also said that i had to adjust some stuff on my router to play online with COD4, is this true?
3. Is the PS3 really truely worth it? In every apsect? From what i've heard it is, and i'd love to own one, but i just need to make sure.
Thanks to everyone that helps me out.

1. Yes and it's easy.
2. There get full sometimes and get sort of screwy, but they are by no means f*ed up. You do not have to forward any ports to play online COD4.
3. Yes, many of my friends in the city that I live own Xbox 360's and say that I should've gotten one so that I could play with them. But they don't understand that I use my PS3 for SOO Much more than just video gaming. I watch Blu-Ray and upscale DVDs to high def. I listen to music, and i stream tons of downloaded content from my computer to my ps3 (movies, tv shows, music, etc.). So yes in every aspect, especially with the price drop, it is definately worth it.
Hey happy holidays guys,
Im trying to transfer some video files and i noticed that some of my Avi's and WMV's work and some show up as "Unsupported Data". Does anyone know a way to fix this? Thanks

Because the PS3 itself doesn't play WMVs and AVIs -- but if you download TVersity for your computer, you can transcode them and stream them to your PS3.
This is an old article. I believe it was shortly after e3 that someone from EA came out and said ps3 wsa going ot be at 60 fpscarneyfolk
Please, let it be true. Can anyone verify? The release date is August 14th correct?
[QUOTE="RockTown11"]if you wanna play R6 at 720p manually set it in the PS3 video settings i have a 1080p tv and i have to manually uncheck the 1080i and 1080p options.I rented the game and noticed that it was hard to read the text and the graphics were so-so.
I'm pretty sure it was running at 1080i so maybe that'll fix the problem if I change it to 720p.
If the maximum resolution my TV can display is 720p, but it can downscale to 1080i to 720p - should I let the ps3 automatically set the resolution at 1080i, or should I manually tell it to display at 720p?

I know this, but my question is: Would it look better to play any given game at 720p or 1080i?
It sounds like you are losing a little bit of money somewhere in there, maybe keep two or three games -- then get the ps3 when you've earned a little bit more money.
What is the emotion chip?
