@Atzenkiller: The price on Amazon, its £79.99 for the steelbook edition, the £54.99 standard edition isn't available till the 8th of may, most games cost around £42 on release, one reason alot of people don't buy digital in the UK as games are £55 on psn.
And the reason wildlands has gone top is because its had a price reduction to £32 and GTA5 has been reduced to £25.
Considering it can't be found in the UK at the moment, well apart from paying nearly double the price to scalpers, thats the reason its not in the chart, will be back on the 8th of May, when the standard edition gets released, really weird idea, releasing a normal none steel case version weeks later.
@dudebropartyyo: HAHAHA, well i've been thinking up weird ideas for what they might do, but at least mine are possible, lol. ;-)
But seriously they should do exactly what you said, the game will sell like no other, and have a massive community, then sell a few cosmetic items for a reasonable price, they get money for running the servers, we get the game we really want.
Hmm, so what new way can they scam the shooter gaming community, I know, monthly subscription like a mmo, so you don't break up the community because they can't play if they don't pay, or you need to pay a fee for each time you play, all the maps are free but you need to pay $2 for each gaming session.
Damn I hope it isn't Luke, other families can be brought in to add some depth to the story, why not Galen Marek and Juno Eclipse, Force unleashed might not have been the greatest game ever, but they did create a good story, like the Marek family crest was used as the Symbol for the rebel alliance.
@ArabrockermanX: Yes and no, they might be different types of systems with different exclusives, but 3rd party exclusives are something that system sales effect, right now some games are being released exclusive on the PS4, not because Sony has payed for them to be exclusive, just because the Xbone isn't selling in Japan at all, If the switch sells well, they wont be Sony exclusives, they will be on both systems, which will push Sony rather than just sitting back and waiting for exclusives to roll in because they can't be caught.
@carving_a_giant: And thats the problem, they don't have any competition at the moment, we as gamers need Nintendo to put them under some pressure, After the PS2 Sony felt they didn't have any reason to try, so released the overpriced PS3 without pushing exclusives, thats when the Xbox360 jumped ahead of them, it was only because Microsoft got lazy with exclusives halfway through last gen and Sony put some effort in that the PS3 caught up at the end of gen.
The only reason I can see this happening is the success of the switch, Its likely that Nintendo is having to change what factories are producing to meet the demand of the Switch, at best Nintendo hoped to sell 2 million Switch consoles, they sold 2.4 million, so the 400k they thought would be sitting instore ready for purchase is already gone, so they need to up production.
