Can someone tell me if Sony is discontinuing the 60GB BC model when the 40GB is launched? Kestastrophe

It looks like its only going to be the 40 gig and the 80 gig model so time to get that 60 gig model now, I mean right now!

And a 299 PS3 beats a 249 wii so its going to be interesting this shopping season.

I was just on slickdeals.net or was it .com, anywho the thing is:

November: PS3=399

Sony credit card signup bonus= one hundred dollars (kind of like a gift card from Best Buy).

So this leaves me wondering if the Sony Lifestyle? credit card signup bonus is one hundred dollars or 150?

I am just wondering if so then:

PS3 at 399 for the 40GB SKU and -one hundred dollar gift card from the credit card signup:

PS3 at 299 dollars come November?

Any other credit cards have a signup bonus?

Hey just wondering since if there are several its very cool to combine signup giftcards to get a 40 GB PS3 SKU at 199 or lower?

Is Terminator Three: Rise of the Machines a better audio/visual experience in 480i and pro-logic or 1080p and Dolby Digital sound?

What really bothers the wii lovers is someone stating a simple fact:

480p is inferior to 720p.

pro-logic is inferior to Dolby Digital.

No opinions there just simple facts.

Games ARE better! on the PS3 and the 360 for those that want, expect and ask for quality SOUND AND VIDEO since its an AUDIO VISUAL experience.

Stay away! from Bose crap cubes and small speakers since piston area of drivers is very important with 6 and 1/2 inch woofers/midranges being minimum consideration for drivers. L,R,C,LS,RS,CS.

12 inch subwoofers minimum consideration for subwoofers with two 12 inch subs being good but four 12 inch subs being much, much better. (some friends do prefer four 15 inch subs versus four 12 inch subs).

In Feburary or March 2008................bah exams and school work leave no time for game enjoyment.

However.

A December 15 , 2007 release date is a very big deal as its Holiday time and time for enjoyment of that game is perfect timeing.

I was just watching a Metal Gear Four trailer and yes it was very cool and yes I am going to get the game but my question is that I noticed that at the very end of the trailer where it says out in 2008 it makes an alert sound and the 2008 number gets a 2007 instead with the "7" being highlighted in red.

So I am wondering if this means if Metal Gear Four is going to be out in 2007? and calling up Kojima Studios only got me the response of "watch the trailer"................geez all I wanted was a simple yes or no, folks.

So what info do you folks have?
