I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a spoon. Horrible game.

@topgun182: Each to their own, I have just spent 6 hours playing it and its great. Excellent online racing and the campaign is better than any other GT entry.

@effinjay: Please don't tell lies on the intranets. You don't own GT Sport nor have you played it outside of the demo.

@roycruz: Come on now Roy, you really need to try harder. You already own an xbox and Forza 7, you have not played GT Sport nor do you own a PS4 and are trolling for whatever reason I'm not sure. You're almost worse than me when it comes to trolling. Oh and it's the choice is clear, not the choose is clear.

Sad to see no real campaign mode in the game although I am basing that on what I read not my own experience because I haven't played it yet. Definitely still purchasing it today though as I like online racing. At the end of the day the campaign mode in Gran Turismo and in fact most driving games is just a slog through repetitive easy racing. Single player campaign modes should definitely be in racing games but they really need to be even a little challenging and engaging, they need a complete over haul. F1 2017 went in the right direction in that regard.

@excelsciors: Could have saved yourself 20 seconds of typing by not putting two o's in Turismo every time you typed it. On another note, I could have saved 1 minute and 45 seconds of my time by not being a smart arse. So there's that I guess.

@rcontini: I never said they were the same as when you're 20, I said they're perfectly fine at 30 and well beyond that in terms of playing a video game.

Games that are difficult or challenging are the reason that I play them. I like being tested to see if I can overcome them and they happen to be the most memorable moments in my hobby. Finally beating Ornstein and Smough on Dark Souls, Gehrman or Vicar Amelia or some of the Chalice Dungeon bosses in Bloodborne were memories I will never forget. Spending literally all week trying and failing to beat Gran Turismo 5s Nordschleife time of 7m29.03 (yes I remember the exact time required) for a trophy, I missed it by 0.23 seconds was also memorable, I didn't get it, I got excruciatingly close but I simply wasn't good enough ... and that's fine.

I am absolutely all for not getting to see or complete certain parts of a game if I'm not good enough or don't have the time commitment required to accomplish it. I remember playing WoW back in 2004 at release for years and never being good enough or good enough as a group of players to overcome some of the raid challenges that it provided. When I saw a player that was wearing armor or had a weapon that was unique to overcoming raids I never once though that it wasn't fair, I got my fair share of entertainment out of the game and it still held that certain extra for players that could complete it or made a commitment to beating it, THAT is important and it seems to lack in games these days. Dumbing down for the masses or hand holding isn't always the right path in my opinion.

@derek: It solved almost every problem the first game had and made new problems the first didn't have, so yes I was surprised.
