@xnshd: You're floundering champ. You've finished 3 times! You must like watching paint dry or perhaps grass grow in your spare time. I platinumed the game, I played it on the hardest difficulty possible, the main story line was the most abysmal story line I have witnessed in a RPG. The ugliest man alive!? The asinine druids. The Wild Hunt were hardly in the game. Learn to live with the fact that it was over rated pal. It, like the previous two games, appealed to prepubescent teenage boys that saw a pair of tits for the first time in a video game and sat there fapping away. It was a solid 6 or 7 at the very best, and that's being generous.

@xnshd: Yes it was over rated in my opinion. Lets talk about the repetition that clearly upsets you. How many destroy monster nests are in Witcher 3? How many find the sunken treasure? How many kill the 6 or so Bandits in Bandit Camps with the worst AI I have ever witnessed in any game period are there? How many follow the fucking Witcher vision blood trail or foot steps are there? That's it, that's your critically acclaimed game right there. I won't even start on the same world environments used over and over or the same NPC faces and voices repeatedly used. The worst UI in any RPG, repetitive combat that you just rinse and repeat or sit down and rest to magically replace all the potion you used. You cannot pick up an object and move it a la Fallout 4 or Skyrim. The only real positive thing about The Witcher 3 was one good quest line with the Bloody Baron and Gwent, but even Gwent was ridiculously easy. Yep, over rated.

@xnshd: You do realise the game is clearly and quite prominently flagged as Early Access don't you? You do realise what that means in terms of gaming don't you? Maybe you should google what it means so you understand. Just trying to help.

@m4a5: Why? Its the opinion of one person or am I mistaken. I've already purchased the game and have made up my own mind on the game. Not sure what your point is.

@xnshd: I didn't comment on 'people', I commented on 'you', big difference champion, but I did notice you're one of those guys that sits there and says this is what 'we' don't like, speak for yourself not others.

The Witcher 3 was repetitive and hugely over rated, Skyrim as much as I liked it, was repetitive, Horizon Zero Dawn was also repetitive. Name some more games champ because you failed three times.

@m4a5: If you have evolved all your blue gear to their cap then I will eat my keyboard... and monitor. I have a heap of purple schematics, weapons and survivors, I only have one purple hero though. Does it stop me from playing the game? Nope.

@xnshd: Could you point out the game that doesn't have repetitive content. I'd probably count again because there are more than 3 mission types.

@m4a5: What is the shallow content you're speaking of?

@m4a5: A good player with awareness and purple or even blue gear is far superior than an average player than thinks he or she needs a Mythic or Legendary to progress.
