This thread has nothing to do with the PS3 being a good or bad system. This thread has nothing to do with it's comparison to 360 or Wii. This thread has EVERYTHING to do with how Sony is screwing everyone over by not making up their damn minds with their system. Seriously....when in the history of video games has a company changed its model and price SO MANY times?? I bought a 60gb at launch and since then they have scrapped the 20g...introduced the 80g...scrapped the 60g ...... remade the sixaxis to Dual Shock 3.....and now is making a 40g with no BC and they give you Blu-ray of Spiderman 3.

WHAT ABOUT THOSE GAMERS THAT BOUGHT IT AT LAUNCH???????? We were the first to own Sony's latest gaming machine and our reward for that............bend over boys and no lubrication. At least Nintendo gives the over zealous a new strap for their Wii remotes and haven't realeased 4 different Wii systems. And at least M$ extended its warranty to 3 years to cover its quite defective machine (until recently that is). What has $ony done???? NOTHING!!!!! This ranks up there with the 32x coming out on the Sega Genesis.

Anyone else pissed off at Sony?? Don't you think those of us that bought systems already are entitled to something....anything.....I mean friggin mail me a copy of Spiderman 3.....something...anything. Sony is screwing over gamers and just goes about its business like they have screwed up. Or do we chalk this up to experience not to buy a system at launch and wait a bit?? But then where is the fun in that when all the new stuff comes out??

Oh and I have a 360 and a Wii so please lay off the Fanboy remarks. No trolls please..

WHAT DO YOU WANT, A COOKIE!!!

You've gotta be kidding me. You feel that you are entitled to more than what you paid for?  What will you do when you buy a car and then the model changes the following year, sue Toyota? Grow up. If you felt that Sony is cheating you, then sell your system and let it go.

I just bought a 60gig 3 weeks ago, then they dropped the price of the 80 today. Am I mad, no. I made a big boy decision an I'm cool with that. The problem is that some folks are not saisfied with what they have.

As for being an early adopter, your should fully be aware that those are usually the ones who pay the most for a system that is normally full of bugs i.e. the Xbox 360. So hate Sony if you want, that you are entitled to, but if you think you are owed something more because you were the first kid on your block that bought a pretty good $600 multimedia/gaming machine; You're out of your mind. Maybe you should have waited two or three more years, oh but maybe by then you would have something else to complain about.

Well, I caved in today. I picked up the Star Wars edition. I have to say that it is a lot nicer than the silver one.

Daxter if you want the most bang for your buck. Star Wars if your a fanatic. Core if you already have a memory stick and some games lying around or if you really must have a piano black system to match your PS3/PS2.

ok, just keep waiting for the next best thing and play nothing or jump in and get the "new" PSP slim and start enjoying yourself in the "now". Don't listed to the naysayers. The PSP has plenty of good games and seemingly more coming in the very near future. Enjoy!

so let me get this straight. You sell a device that went for $200-$250 for $70 so you can then add an additional $100-$130 for a newer version? This is not including the games that depreciate worse than automobiles the minute you walk out the store. I don't get it. Keep the old one, unless you don't own a dvd player at all. it really isn't worth it. That's just me though.

I am honstly tempted to buy the new slim PSP. Star Wars or Core edition. I currently own 2 original PSP's and love them. I have held the new slim and had a chance to mess with it, but I really like the feel of the older version better. At first I liked the idea of connecting it to my TV, but that novelty wore off quickly. The PSP is ment to be a "portable system" and threfore should not be tied down to anything. If I really want to see a movie on my TV, I have much better options i.e. standard DVD, Blueray (ala PS3) and HDDVD on my 360. The reason I bought my PSP was for it's portability. Currently, I own over 40 UMDs and really love the space I save on my sans disk by not ripping them to it, then having to delete everytime I need more space. Hey, to each their own. I personally like storing game saves, music and photos on my PSP.

Hi all,I just picked up my very 1st Xbox 360 the other day. I went for the H3SE because I love how it looks and it will compliment my original Xbox Halo edition. Here is the thing though, do i really need the 120 gig vs the 20 gig hd? I consider myself to be a casual to moderate gamer. Being a dad with 2 kids leaves me little time for all night sessions. I can see myself aquiring DL content (maps and demos), but all my music is on my PSP, ipod and macbook. I sill believe in DVDs and I rent from netflix. So I wouldn't  clutter my gaming hd with unnessesary junk.
see you all on the 25th.

Well, I actually pre-ordered the Legendary but then changed it to the basic. Even thought I love Bungie and Halo, I think it is a waste of $$$. When I bought Halo 2 limited edition, I only watched the bonous disk once. So, just give me the game and I'll be a happy camper.
Now, what MS should have done was to bundle the middle special edition with the H3 360. That would have been sweet.

Yes, try not to drop the DSlite onto any hard surface. My son did that one too many times with his original DS and cracked the hinge. Eventually, the crack worsened and spit the screen in half. Today he has a DSlite and totes it around a padded case that keeps the DS safe. When he is done gaming, he zips up the case.
