The obvious answer here is the UE4 tech demo. But lets be realistic, that is not a game we will ever get. With that said, BF4, definitely leads the pack, it looks so real at times. This is due to Frostbite's lighting, and the overall texture and assets quality. Frostbite 3's GI solution is by far the best in the industry. For anyone who doesn't understand, GI is global illumination. Long story short, BF4's lighting is just incredible, it can create natural lighting on a level that no other engine can, besides UE4.

That's exactly why I don't understand console only player or console fanboys. Why waste $60 on a game withy worse graphics, controls and framerates when you can get the same game with better graphics, more freedom, better controls and depending on your hardware better framerates for only $50 to $30.
I actually have too many games on PC because they're just so damn cheap, most of my games in my Steam account have never been played because I just don't have time to play them all. I just can't resist when a game like Borderlands 2 only cost $50 to begin with and then gets 75% off on top of that.

This. I haven't gotten to finish Just Cause 2, Metro 2033, and Mirror's Edge because of this. I am only an hour into JC2, and a few into Mirror's Edge.
Wow, I am actually really interested in this story. This looks really good, and I am just talking about the story. Visually, there were moments of gameplay where it looked almost indiscernable from real life. I liked some of the small talk between them, the part about the the medic not knowing how to deal with his leg. I definitely think that Crysis 3 looks much better then KZ4, but this blows both away. Seriously though, I thought BF3's sp was decent, but this actually looks really good. I can't begin to think about how incredible Shanghai will be
The NRA vs The Game Industry, i wonder who really is promoting violence lol
megaspiderweb09
Definitely neither. I don't always love the NRA, but I am a strong supporter of the second amendment. The ones promoting violence are the people who try to take away guns, and think gun free zones are anything but an incentive for criminals. By the way, I completely agree with Wisdom's point about that video. While the girl definitely knows her way around a gun, none of the shots she is taking are impressive. Like Wisdom said, if she was using a 9mm pistol, or anything past that, it would be impressive. Pistols are very hard to be precise with, the higher the caliber, the stronger the recoil. Gun weight, and materials can affect this, but generally this is true. My brother used to have a small polymer 357 magnum, talk about a kick. It seemed to kick more then the 44 magnum I shot due to the weight and poly material. Anyways though, I am getting way off topic, but you get the idea.
I own a PC and a PS3, but I would consider myself part of the pc faction. Honestly though, I don't get that much time to actually play games. Most of my time is split between game development, and recording music. When I do get time for games, I usually play BF3 or Diablo 3. The next game I will buy will be Metro Last Light.
[QUOTE="SentientMind"][QUOTE="xboxiphoneps3"] i have played Crysis 3 on max settings at my friends house countless times on his PC, he has 2 GTX 680's in SLI with 16 gigs of DDR3 ram and the best intel i7 processor you can get right now on dual monitors, it really doesnt look that great, nothing that next gen consoles cant surpass...having to code on one piece of hardware that isnt running Windows>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>coding for pc games and thousands of possible pc's configurations that might want to play your gameclyde46
You are making it obvious that yo are lying. You have supposedly played the game countless times, but it has only been out for a month. Considering that you never say anything good about C3, this statement gives it away. But lets look at the rest. 2 GTX 680's, 16 gb's of DDR3, and dual monitors. It is unlikely that your friend would have such a good rig. Go with something more believable next time, 16 GB's is also a bit overkill. Unless you can post a screenshot of Crysis 3 and this rig, then I don't I have any reason to believe you. Lastly, no one that has seen Crysis 3 maxed out would say this
He reminds me of ShadowMoses.
Although I am a new user on this site, I have been checking the forums for a long time, I just finally got around to making an account. Long story short, he does remind me of Shadow Moses, not quite crazy enough to remind me of Loosing Ends though.
By the way, where can I get myself one of those 7860's !?
I believe you can. I played Crysis 2 on a laptop with a Radeon 4250, while the card is newer, it isn't near as powerful as a GTX 8800, and it is actually worse then the consoles GPU. The cpu the laptop had was better then the 360's CPU though, but just by a little. I ran it at the ps3 resolution for Crysis 2, 1024x720.
Just to prove this, here is a video of C2 on a radeon 4250.
[QUOTE="faizan_faizan"][QUOTE="xboxiphoneps3"] Dont see that at all, hermits have no answer to Knack or Deep Down, hermits got destroyed in this thread and they still try to keep damage controlling everything related to PS4...let this thread end .../threadxboxiphoneps31. Buy a PC 2. Play Crysis 3 maxed 3. Take back that statement. If you can't follow these steps then at least please SHUT THE FVCK UP! i have played Crysis 3 on max settings at my friends house countless times on his PC, he has 2 GTX 680's in SLI with 16 gigs of DDR3 ram and the best intel i7 processor you can get right now on dual monitors, it really doesnt look that great, nothing that next gen consoles cant surpass...having to code on one piece of hardware that isnt running Windows>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>coding for pc games and thousands of possible pc's configurations that might want to play your game
