The game looks very good, atleast from a story perspective. I like Heavy Rain a lot, so I will probably like this as well. Visually, the faces look excellent, but everything else looks bad. But I have a PS3 for the exclusives, so whether it looks good or bad doesn't really matter. Comparing this to Crysis 3 is a bit ridiculous though.

That looks so real, I also just watched the video. The game looks unbelievable, the one visual problem was that it needed better AA or a higher resolution, but this can probably be attributed to the terrible 720p compression that GS has. Possibly the best looking game to date ? Didn't think I would say that so soon after Crysis 3. Love that water.

I believe you can get BF3 for cheap on Origin right now and Premium for a lot less as well during some sale they are having.

The game is criminally underrated by System Wars and most gamers. PC gamers just complain that it's not enough like Battlefield 2 or Project Reality and cry how they ruined the franchise.

Completely disagree. BF3's mp is probably the best multiplayer this gen. It's SP is decent, it's more of a visual showcase then anything, but it can still be pretty fun.

BF3 was on a work in progress frosbite engine when it launched, and a lot of stuff wasn't even there in terms of visuals. Like tessellation, it's barely even in the game if at all as far as I can tell (could be very wrong) but they kind of rushed the game out to compete with MW3. I reckon BF4 will look much better, mainly because it will have a lot more particles in the air. Though that could be bad in terms of effects of screen like blood,dirt and water hitting the camera.

Even so, the game is probably the best looking game out there next to Crysis 3, wouldn't you agree ? FB2's lighting is the biggest reason for how good the game looks.

Those details may be fake, but I hope there is still a Shanghai Bund level. I made part of the bund in CE3, and it's an amazing area.

This is the bund, which sits right across from Pudong, Shanghai's main area, where the main part of the skyline, and where China's tallest building will be.

BF3 is much more then pretty graphics. The multiplayer for BF3 is possibly the best of this gen. Even the SP can be pretty fun. Also, BF3's SP graphics are incredible, they are second only to Crysis 3.

Well, some hermits genuinely believe Crysis 1 to have more realistic lighting than C3... (altho C3 looks better on low detail than C1 on very high)

edit: Crysis was also already dethroned by Metro 2033 in 2010, despite the delusion regarding it's "graphical supermacy".

Crysis 1 with mods is about on par if not better than Crysis 3, for Crysis 3 coming out 6 years later, it should be a night & day difference

Crysis 3 was held back by consoles, you can tell, look at the draw distance & mountains in the background in Crysis 1, incredible isn't it? well in Crysis 3 most backgrounds are either 2D or very low quaility buildings

Don't be ridiculous. Crysis doesn't compare to Crysis 3, BF3, or probably even Crysis 2 modded. As you can tell from my sig, I am pretty familiar with CE3. Long story short, CE3 is just more advanced then CE2, especially the lighting, which is second only to FB2's. Same goes for Crysis 3. Crysis 3 is DX11 from the ground up, and the game is absolutely incredible visually. The difference between Crysis, and Crysis 3 is night and day. 

Does someone want to show him Star Citizen, Arma 3, or planetside 2 ? 

crysis 3 doesnt even have tesellation lol it's not pushing pc.

I think everyone on here knows you have never played Crysis 3 on pc. You just made it even more obvious. There is tesselation everywhere in C3, even the vegetation is tesselated.
