@Detroman Dude the majority of people do not care about media integration. Any cable box or Tv now days has Netflix, Hulu, Amazon video and alot cheaper than the X1. Even the WiiU has this. You think an everyday consumer will throw 500$ for that?

What is important for this machine is gaming and that's it. The other stuff are extras. So you have two machines: the first one is expensier slightly less powerfull with user rights restrictions; the other one is cheaper, slightly more powerfull with no restrictions in users rights. Who do you think will be the better and sell more???

In one thing Nintendo is ALWAYS innovating is in gameplay, maybe no new IP but Nintendo DEFITIVELY INNOVATE every generation. Just look at Mario 64 vs Sunshine and the Galaxy games and tell me it's the same. Look at Zelda SS, WW, TP and MM or OOT ant tell me they play the same. Look at Metriod, Super metroid, Metroid pinball, the Prime Series and Other M an again tell me is the same. What a Noob

People here are just stupid Nintendo IS going to E3, they will not have a big press conference, but they will have saller ones for the press and the developers, so the mesage is going to be there, they are using the Nintendo direct series of videos to the gamers and the gaming media. They still have presence on the flor with demos and all. I think is samart for them to not have a big event where the mesage can be misinterpreted.

@SolidusHo they are not going to make a big press conference but theuy are going to E3 and have small conference for the media and developers

@mr_squibble Wiiu and 3DS will integrate later, Nintendo already said that. Wii VC is not the same platform as the WIIU it hasn't the same integration and currency.
