I can tell you that if you set the Xbox settings to optimal resolution- It will put black bars on the top and bottom and make it 16:9.brandontwb
Yeah, I am sure will be happy with that way. It means more graphically precise to see the details.

I notice the similiar patterns from most people's response: PS3: Best machine alive, go for it for a long term and if you have big money upfront. 360: Best for bang and ton of games. Go for it if you don't want to buy a new PC.

Update: I still haven't bought one yet. I am looking for the best deal of the month for PS3 from Best Buy, Frys or Gamestop. I am very patient to wait.

[QUOTE="djsifer01"]You cant be serious to think Forza 3 will be better than GT5 thats just ridiculous. nervmeister
I wouldn't say that. It's certainly possible though not guaranteed.

Have you played Forza 2? It's definitely better than any current GT series. That is why we start to feel Forza 3 will beat GT5 again.

I have been considering to have two separated machine: one is for school and work and other is for entertainment. I used to have all-in-one PC machine and I didn't like the experience since it caused me to delay my school assignment. I would like to have a PS3 as for an entertainment machine (blu ray and games). I don't need to work on updating antivirus, new OS, etc.

[QUOTE="Shin_Akuma01"][QUOTE="nervmeister"]Shin_Akuma, what kinds of games do you enjoy?nervmeister

Recently...SF4, COD4, APF2k8 and Forza 2. I am more a movie buff than a video game player. That is why I am targeting to PS3. Right now, I am thinking about to save money for a better machine - a new PC.

I shoulda been more specific. What genres of games do you enjoy the most?

FPS and Fighting, tie..

[QUOTE="Shin_Akuma01"]I've tried to match with the one from HP. It comes to about $200 more for the same spec, but the one you show doesn't include OS and other additional softwares. The one I customized in HP website includes Windows Vista 64 bits and MS Office Student Edition.Stevo_the_gamer

The PC comes with Vista Premium 64-bit. What are you talking about?

I didn't see the option in the specification, can you please show me where to find it?

[QUOTE="sdfgdgsdfsdf"]http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883103203 This is good pc also. 429$ Athlon X2 4850(2.5GHz) 4GB DDR2 640GB Windows Vista Home This pc the memory is upgradable to 8gb the 370$ pc is upgradable to 4 gb. it's ur choice, spend alittle more get something alittle more future proof. the 370$ pc has a 200 mhz clock higher than the 429$ one, but memory expandability is more important than 200 clock difference 2.5 ghz 2.7. both good gaming rigs. and taking out a psu is easy, it's just 2 wires you unplug from the motherboard they have a clip just press in clip to release and pull out wire. just hook everything back up up how pc ships. .

How long do you think the motherboard will last? I bought this pc in ten years ago with PCI slot. I'm dissapointed that I couldn't upgrade a new graphic card and motherboard when I bought a new big screen.
