The guy's crazy. Either that or his taste is really poor.

What guy? I have posted pics of most of my 360 and PS3 collection on this thread. And I also said what types of games I like. Someones taste in games will always be different than someone elses. I am pretty sue if you look in my game catalog youwill not find bargain bin titles 3 monthd after release with the exception of Rayman.

Like I said. This forum does not understand the concept of different people like different things. What are your top 5 360 games?

Your taste in games and your game library really cut the PS3 short.

Demon's Souls for example, do you not like games like that? Demon's Souls is such a good game, one of the best I've ever played in my life quite honestly.

What about Metal Gear Solid 4, did you ever play through it or even give that one a chance?

If you like Rayman Origins enough to warrant 2 copies of it, you should most definitely at least try the LittleBigPlanet games.

Heavy Rain is unlike anything else out there, and is critically acclaimed. Definitely worth a playthrough.

God of War III is one of my favorite games of all time, do you not like hack n slash games?

You might not like baseball, but the MLB The Show games are the best there is for baseball.

Infamous 1 and 2 are excellent for open world super hero games. Not quite as good as the Batman series, but great nonetheless.

I mean, if all you like is shooting and racing, Xbox 360 would be the perfect console for you, lol. I myself like a wide variety of different genres.

Here's my top 5 Xbox 360 list.

1) Halo Reach

2) Gears of War 3

3) Forza 4

4) Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary

5) Tales of Vesperia

Wide variety of genres, then posts 3 shooters.

TECHNICALLY Axelay is better than Musya. Also, in my opinion, Axelay. Also, why has no one here heard of Axelay? I would also like to nominate Secret of Evermore, The 7th Saga for retro cool sounds, and perhaps underrated Paladins quest. Also Megaman X2 has a way better than Megaman X, and Megaman X3 does not exist in the music department. Oh, i forgot about Final Fantasy VI. Although it wasn't exactly consistent, when you first go into the castle at the start of the game and the king joins you, that place had a good sound track. If anybody know what I am saying, probably not so I'll stop now.

[QUOTE="ZoomZoom2490"]lemms should not be able to post until they learn which games are exclusive. this faction is the most uneducated not only in this forum but everywhere else.

Trials, Splosion man, Limbo, you must be one of the special students.

Well if you're basing it on some flea market find or some uninformed seller at a garage sale or Craigslist or something, then no **** sherlock. You'd also be able to find Earthbound for $5 dollars as well.

arkephonic

I'm sorry but you're the only one who mentioned Craigslist. How about going online shopping?Ebay, Amazon, gaming WEBSITES, ONLINE GAMING STORES. THe fact you said craigslist makes me worry because you would have to be a fool to think that place is reliable.

No, I'm saying it's stupid to discredit the value of a game based on some random flea market find. For instance, my friend not too long ago bought a brand new, boxed, unopened NES console bundle with Super Mario Duck Hunt combo and Zapper for $5 dollars at a garage sale.

Does that mean that the resale value of a brand new, unopened NES console is $5 dollars?

So you just ignored all the other things I posted?

That's called a herp derp decision. I don't believe that, do you have a link to prove that? That sounds completely unrealistic, why would anyone print 4 million copies from the start? Not even Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword would do something like that. I remember the first print for that game had the soundtrack included, and then they base the next print on the sales of that one.

arkephonic

Didn't you read back when they announced shipping numbers? Also, Zelda doesn't fit in this situation, outside of some curious visitors, almost all Zelda games all sell basically almost the same number mostly because of the fact that the same fans buy the games. So Nintendo won;t ever exceed a certain sell point.

Normally, a game's first print is obviously the largest, because roughly 80% of console game lifetime sales are within the first month. 4 million though sounds like a complete mistake for Resistance 3. I'm sure the person who made that decision is fired now.

I wonder if the American version of Xenoblade Chronicles will ever be worth something considering it had a limited print.

Might not considering they are planning to put it in canada as well and canada will pretty much still be the ntsc-u version and you can easily just bring those copies down here in regards to Xenoblade.

Lol, games are pressed/printed in waves. The number of waves are dependant on sales. Sony games won't print a ton of games if the game isn't selling.

arkephonic

So why did Resistance 3 ship over 4 million when it barely broke 1? And none of the prequels pointed it was selling well enough to move 4 million?

Freaking Nintendo games, lol, they can sell a ton of copies and still have a high resale value, and still appreciate in value. Mario Kart 64 for example is one of the more pricey cartridges, and it sold 10+ million copies. I think it's due to the fact that Nintendo 1st party games never drop in price, ever. Nintendo 1st party games are good ones to collect.

arkephonic

You can get Mario Kart 64 for 5 dollars, don't be mad because you got ripped off.

You know what happens when a game doesn't sell well and it is critically acclaimed? It becomes a collector's item, and it appreciates in value greatly. Just look at Earthbound, it didn't sell all that well and it was critically acclaimed. Now the game sells for $200-$300 dollars.

As a game collector, I actually like buying critically acclaimed games that don't sell very well because they are good to hold on to.

arkephonic

This makes no sense, Earthbound had limited copies, Sony spams out large quantities of games to buy which is one of the many reasons why they don;t like games not selling.
