This doesn't make any sense. The had high recognition at the Ps3 launch, it only started to effect them long term.If the PS3 at $600, no games, bad online infrastructure, inferior ports, etc. didn't kill Sony then nothing else will.

N o it wouldn't, if it was on the 3DS in its current form it would kill what little credibility the 3DS. It's like putting Final Fantasy 7 in a retail case on the Vita, it would lower interest, make the system look like crap, no one would buy it on a next gen system as much as if it were on the DS. That said, it won;t sell well on the DS anyway. It would be a huge boost to the 3DS sales, however, the install base is limited in comparison. It could go a number of ways.
I would have preferred it for the 3DS.

Almost everyone dismisses puzzle, rhythm, adventure/visual novel and sports games. Oh well, their loss.EponiqueVisual Novels are not adventure games, don't lump them together.
[QUOTE="Truth_Hurts_U"][QUOTE="delta3074"]maybe it's the crowd you hang out in because everyone i know has no interest in mobile phone gaming and i am always an early adopter, i bought my 360 within a year of launch yet i am happy with the standards of the current generation, i have been gaming for 26 years and it's only in the last 2 generations where Graphics w***** have rose to prominence, a lot of gamers have become entitled whiney little b****** quite frankly, also, the fact that games like Minecraft and trial Evo and the journey are selling so well is an indication that most true gamers couldn't give a monkeys about graphics, if you want power buy a gaming PC.delta3074I don't own a cel or do I know anyone besides 1 fam that games more then 1 time a week on one. It's called a global prospective. Not the world around you view. I've been into PC's since the 80's and been gaming since then. You really have not been into gaming for 26 years. It was all the rage on how good your 2D graphics were in the day. 8 bit vs 16 bit... Vs 32 and 64... Only now does the race seem to end. Tech limits of the game industry? nope.... Just the people that QQ on forums about price of a console at LAUNCH. Like it's going to stay that price for the rest of it's life.i started gaming at 11 years old on the ZX spectrum 48k, you are talking out of your backside mate, forums like this didn't exist and gaming was not very popular at all,you where an outcast nerd if you played video games,it only really became popular with the Ps1, we didn't argue graphics or power because there where no gaming forums to argue about power or graphics, no offense, but i doubt you are even old enough to have been gaming as long as i have dude because 16 bit machines didn't appear till the 90's. People argued about graphics and power in the 70's and early 80's saying things were true you weren't around for.
Don't see the problem here. Forza 2-3 was a massive leap, almost a console generational leap... and Forza 4 just refined on what Forza 3 did so well. There is a big difference between bringing out the same game every year and producing a whole new game in the same vein every 2. At least 360 owners GET games in their favourite series, and don't have to wait more than half a decade. This is an entirely new direction for the series (open world rather than circuit).I felt that Forza 2 was great game, did a lot for the racing genre...but 3&4 seemed like the same game to me.[QUOTE="Zeviander"][QUOTE="-Patrick_92-"]And Sony fans are the ones that get milked? :?-Patrick_92-
I would have liked to see PGR (did not like 4 so much because of the motorcycles) more so than Forza each time, but I guess that studio closed.
It's a shame that GT5 got delayed so much, but GT6 will probably come out sooner rather than later. The engine has already been made, and we should probably see it within 2 years.
I just feel like M$ is milking their franchises instead of branching out to make other new IP's (besides Kinect crap). They could have givin this game a different title, but instead they put the Forza logo on it to generate more sales.
Whatever they are doing it's working, so they should probably continue to release Kinect shovalware and the same 4 franchises over and over and over again.
Halo 3, Halo Wars, Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 4.
Forza 2, 3, 4, and Horizons
Fable 2, 3, Journey, and Heroes
Gears 1, 2, 3.
Sony does this to and So does Nintendo and they both do it worse.Shockwave, what specifically are the differences of downloading it directly or downloading the file and putting it on to PSP from a PC? What do you mean by that? Sorry, i recently got the PSP, not aware of those things.hydralisk86Downloading the file and putting it on the PSP actually causes less errors. Audio and such doesn't have problems, less graphical issues if any at all, animations, frame rate, and controls feel smoother as well. The main difference I have noticed many times with PC to PSP, and direct downloading is that separates the two the most are that when you download directly, the game loads faster, saving is faster and less corrupted, (with quite a few games actually.), and the picture is clearer in areas (depends on the game. When you put the file from PC, there are less gameplay related problems with the actual game, audio and video are much better, especially FMV related cutscenes as well as things I described above. Also, lack of download glitches like random areas of the game crashing as much if at all with faster games. So it really depends. But I would do a PC to PSP transition for all Rpg like games myself with the exception of Suikoden or Breath of Fire series which work better with direct downloading. Outside of rpgs. Most more 3D games open world or not, that have a lot of detail, like Syphon Filter or Crash bandicoot, or Spyro, etc. are games I would use PC-to PSP for. More 2D related game or anything similar, like maybe overhead games, Strategy games, 2D games Symphony of the Knight, or Racing games i would direct download.
