Ok, so I'm kinda new at overclocking as I've always been afraid I'd mess something up. But I toyed with it some with an old Pentium 4 2.4ghz. My problem though is how do you know when to increase the voltage and when to increase the FSB? With the 2.4ghz I could get it up to alomst 3ghz increaseing the FSB, if I got any higher than that though my computer would stop booting and I would have to reset the BIOS settings. Anyways a quick overclocking 101 would be nice from someone who understands it better than I do.

The Motherboards standard for DDR is DDR2 1200 thats what I thought it ok to use the 1066. PLus with 1066 it matches the same speed as the processors FSB, but not sure if that makes a difference.
Again I will be adding another 2gb of ram and another 8800 over the next month or so.
I would go with the Intel Q6600 quad core. Also you might want to look in getting 2 of the 8800GTS (G92) as they are about half the price of the GTX and get very very close to the same performace as the GTX, just go look at some benchmarks where they compare the 2. That goes with the processors too, if your not sure between Intel or AMD quad, just check some benchmarks.
