IF that receiver has HDMI input/output I would run ps3 into receiver then receiver to TV. Does that model output 1080p though? Unless of course your TV is not 1080p then I guess it dont matter :p.

Need to know more than what kinda of CPU you have. How much RAM? and what type of video card? Also be aware the install is 25+GB of HDD space.

Well guess that answers my optical question. So yea, if you want to get the most out of your sounds I would pick up a HD capable receiver (all HDaudio receivers should have HDMI pass-through)

That sucks about DX10, wonder why they gave you the option then :/ oh well, it still looks fantastic for a MMO.

Oh my bad I did use the word amazing but I did not mean it like "AMAZING" you know? just that it was a very stable launch, sure things are broke, but the servers were up and running smooth, everyone was getting good ping and in the 5 hours I played I did not hear one person say they crashed.

Eh I don't think the game being somewhat stable makes the launch an "amazing success". It still had broken zones and clases and balancing issues. Among other things many quest are broken including some from the newbie zone which you have to do to leave the damn place. A glance of the aoc forums and you will see many problems taht really need to be addressed.

Plus there is no need to go out and bring WoW into this discussion. I guess that's what we can expect for the next several years of mmo gaming. If you don't think "X" game is an amazing game, then you are a wow fan.

EndersAres

Dont recall reading anyone calling it an "Amazing Success" but it definetly is worthy of praise IMO. This game had a much smoother launch than most of the other MMOs out there. So a few quest are broken and there is a zone issue here and there, what MMO dont have those kind of issues at launch? MMOs are way way way to big for anyone to actually expect a 0% failure rate.

Ok so I have seen this option on Crysis (after update) and Now AoC. I know what AA does but I dont recall seing a 8xQ or a 16xQ before, what does the Q stand for in regards to just a normal 8x or 16x?
