First off a HDD is never as big as it says it is (I.E. my 320 is really only 298) this has something to do with the way its partitioned from the manufacturer or something. Also are you using Windows Vista? If so there is a thing that it does called shadow copy. If you want to check and see how much is being used by this follow these steps

1. Go to Command prompt and run it as administrator

2. type in vssadmin list shadowstorage
This will show you how much is being used.

3 if you wish to change it type this : vssadmin resize shadowstorage /On=C: /For=C: /Maxsize=[here add the maximum space you will allow for Shadow Sorage, e.g. 3GB].

Good luck

So after a long and tedious process, I finally have managed to at least get my processor at 3.0ghz (333mhz x9). I ran prime95 for an hour and temps for CPU peeked at 60c but quickly fell back to around 58c at full load.

Ok so I keep trying to OC my Q6600 and my PC will quit booting.

I have the MSI P7N SLI Platinum and some Mushkin DDR2 800.

I guess the big thing is I"m really not sure how high I can set PC before I need to change voltage, also not sure how to set RAM speed in accordance with CPU.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

[QUOTE="Shrinekeeper"]well I see you already bought your cable, but for future cable purchases check out www.monoprice.com I bought a 24AWG 15 or might have been 20 foot HDMI cable for $25LexLas
What is 24AWG ?

AWG(gauge) is the thickness of the wire. 24AWG is the size of a standard pinky finger.

Try finding a E6600 Intel, it will be a little more expensive but its clocked higher and I hear they OC very well. Also I would go ahead and get some DDR2 800 memory not that 667, unless of course the Motherboard can't support it.
