About 3 hours ago I finished Trace Memory (DS) for the 3rd time. This time I helped D get all of his memories back. This lead to the "Good" ending and since it was that ending on a multiple go-around I also unlocked the Super Secret Suprise puzzle at the end of the credits. I also paid off my 850,000 bell mortgage to Tom Nooke in Animal Crossing Wild World this morning.
I wish I could get out of bed for longer than a few minutes.
I've been playing Super Street Fighter IV a bit lately. I've mostly been playing online and collecting the trophies and that kind of stuff. I still need to try Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.TAMKFan
I'd go for it. It's definitely worth it. It's a nice break from SSFIV. SSFIV's action is slower. It's a more deliberate, strategic kind of fighting. TvC is more like the other VS series fighters. The combat is much faster paced and will have you banging out Air Combos left and right. It's nice to juggle the two fighting styles back and forth.
I found this interesting article about the World Cup on MSN.com
It's a tyrade about the drone from those plastic horns killing the mood.
Very impressive. It truly fits in the Legacy Platforms forums since it was made with what looks like the Mario Paint Composer. Check the site listed in the video to see what the talented composer used.
The big reason that most people ignore PC gaming threads in the "Legacy" forum is because in a lot of cases you get all kinds of "System wars" bs and everyone wants to transform any thread about anything into some big s***storm argument.
Arguably old PC games can be in the Legacy forum because the old OS that supported them is no more.
I'm not acutally all that wild about online gaming. I have a 360 but I don't havea Gold XBL membership. It's not that important to me. If Nintendo charges for it's full online services it's not just about having to improve the online service itself. The Wii and the DS suffer from a marked lack of games with online play. Yeah we have Mario Kart and the animal crossings are online, and I know that Tatsunoko vs Capcom has an online mode.
Of course, it's obvious from a lot of the "WTF? Nintendo's going to charge for it?" that Nintendo's current online performance is lack luster. Yes, if Nintendo was going to charge for their online services there would be obvious improvements to the service. The latency would be better distributed so problems of regional lag would be taken care of (within reason) and we would see things like game and platform updates for both the Wii and the DS. If Nintendo makes the decision to ask for a subscription fee for their online modes then we would certainly see them step up the attention payed to their services. There would be the updates, and probably some kind of stat tracking tacked to your Mii. They would probably also add things like the PSN Trohies or XBL Achievements to trump up the single player experiences.
However, since this is the DS forum it bears noting that the DS features a method of playing that we don't see with the consoles: Direct Connect, the wireless connection from DS to DS. I sincerely doubt Nintendo could charge for that. At least, I hope.
I don't really give a crap about the glitches. I mean, I guess if I was one of the paying subscribers and not just a basic, free member. The glitches aren't world ending, anyway. The ones I've encountered I'm able to get around so it doesn't bother me and it's not like I'm paying for it.
If you are paying for it I suggest you complain to the people in charge of the site since you're essentially being ripped off.
