Thanks for the responses! I already own vista home premium and have installed it before, so does that mean if I want the 64bit version I have to pay more?

Soon I plan on getting a 10,000 rpm hd and 4 gigs of ram and I thought about using the old hd for pictures, music, videos, etc and the new one for games only. My question is, should I stay with xp for the new upgrade or go to vista?

I know that vista uses the 4 gigs of ram and that xp will only use 3 or soemthing like that. I'm also using the 32 bit version of both OS's.

Wow, no one wants Far Cry 2? In my opinion, it dominates all the other games coming out in october.

Try the battlefield series and the half life series as well. Oblivion is a good rpg too.

Hey thanks a lot! That was very helpful and informative. I'll take your advice when I do upgrade my computer again but if things get expensive by then, I might as well just want to build a new computer. I hear it's a very good experience.

Yeah its great, never had any problems with temperature but wow it sure is a heavy beast to move around.

I guess I'll just wait on buying a new case and mobo when/if I build my next computer.
