I'm trying to use my lcd tv as a computer monitor, but when setting it up, the screen on the tv justy says "unsupported video signal". I'm connecting the tv to my video card over vga, and I'm not trying to force anything above its native res. I did get the tv to work if I used component cables but I want to use vga.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Which one in your opinion takes more skill? Both are faced paced games that demand accurate precision.

Is getting 37-40 fps with a 8800GT normal in bf2142? In BF2 I get a 60 fps online and off but I get a horrible fps loss in BF2142. Is this expected with the amount of things going on? The rest of my system is C2D6600 2.4 ghz, 2 gigs of ram and a 750 watt psu.

I've got the latest drivers too, I'm just so frustrated with this performance, and I'm not even running on a high res either. Any one know anything that can be causing this?

So I got rid of the old 7900gs and got the new 8800gt, but, there's not much ofan increase in performance at all really. I've got the most up to date drivers, turned the fan speed up to 50% and I have a 750 watt psu so I know it's getting eneough power. I also have a C2D 6600 @ 2.4 ghz and 2 gigs of ram so I know the rest of my system is good. Shouldn't I be getting a lot more than 31 fps on Bf2142 and 22fps on SW: Empire at War? I'm just so frustrated with this thing!

Oh yeah, I didnt uninstall the old 7900gs drivers before putting in the 8800gt, so I uninstalled the 8800gt then reinstalled them again, and it's the same.
