I play Team Fortress quite a bit, and that game has clans, a number of them. And that's a game with a relatively (compared to, say, Halo) small player base and crap developer support. I'm sure more popular games have clans out the ass. Were you talking about in-game support for clans?

Palantas

TF2 on 360 allows for clans?

I own a pair of G35's and they're godly.

I have to agree with you so far. Do you use the voice morpher in any games? I love to use it in CSS :D

Well, a console "king" generally doesn't have around a 33% failure rate at launch

Not saying the console prince to the "king" from the last dynasty did everything right.

Clans are sooo last decade. savetehhaloz

Clans are definitely still around. Just look around on the forums at any prominent game site (not counting IGN) and you will find plenty of active clan activity.

MAG's better than both

x8VXU6

thats funny I heard MAG sucked

I had a deep belly laugh because what you heard is true. I got the beta and deleted it the same day. For a game of that size, communication is a necessity. Only about 5-7 people on my WHOLE team said anything, turning the game into nothing but a glorified team deathmatch that we have all seen and played hundreds of times.

On another note, get KZ 2. Graphics are way better, and at least the plot makes tangible sense. The only redeeming feature of MW 2 is spec ops, which is also lame unless you do it co-op with someone you actually know. The multiplayer is broken and/or filled with obnoxious children on any given day. I prestiged twice, and just cannot take it anymore. That system has simply gotten ridiculous.

It would help in understanding the backstory of Desmond and such, but you could probably play though AC2 without playing 1. It'd be like playing MGS4 without playing MGS 1-3, you would probably understand the story you miss a few minor throwbacks to the previous ones.

Scorpion13497

That would be brain-suicide, to me at least. What makes MGS 4 such a satisfying game is to see what happens to all of your favorite (and happily hated) characters in what is basically the beautiful crescendo for this series. To me, that's like saying you can fully appreciate the Matrix Trilogy by ONLY watching the Matrix Revolutions, which we all know you can't8)

PSN name: ThriceBrandon

My room mate is bringing his copy of MW 2, even though I'm used to playing it on 360, I'll definitely give it a shot. Are you good? I was good on 360, but it will take me a bit to get used to ps3 controllers.

I use them and love them. So far they are the best headphones I have owned and have done the best job at keeping outside noise at bay. 10x better than my Razer headset.millerlight89

I just got my pair today. I love them except for one little oddity: the right ear seems to have slightly louder sound when the surround sound mode is turned off. Just a tiny bit. The mic cup (left ear cup) doesn't sound messed up, just a teeny bit lower than that more dominant sounding right side. Or, maybe I am just being OCD again? When surround is on, both ear cups sound fantastic.

Edit: I just started playing Pink Floyd's Remastered version of Dark Side and the music sounds balanced. I guess it was just crappy sound from Counter Strike Source or something...:D

[QUOTE="MethodManFTW"]uhh... lol? where have you been... ever? a good psn update is quite rare.. mgs, re2, re3, ff7... thats about it.thunderf00t

They had a number of good updates in the last half of 2009, actually. This one offers virtually nothing worthwhile, however.

At least we got some videos to watch, I guess...

Scianix-Black

All of which can be more conveniently streamed right here on our PC's and laptops.

I still have to say these updates will equal fail until Sony decides to offer PS2 games for digital download. IF the 360 offers 360 titles (like Mass Effect) AND xbox orinigals, sony can do it as well.

Plus, I miss playing the Bouncer and my Shin Megami Tensei games.
