Oh yeah, we all love glitches when they are new and humorous :D Have you found the magical spot in Terminal yet?

[QUOTE="emorainbo"]They can't develop on it but every other developer can? That would make them crappy lazy developers. It isnt that the hate it, they just cant develop on it.

Oh they can, it's just much more work than they want to worry about
So, instead of fanning the flames , I will leave you with this video. According to one crytek dev, crysis (on PC) is powered by the Cryengine 2. CE2 uses DirectX9 on medium settings and DX10 when everything is cranked to "Very High" settings. Crysis 2, which will be on PC, PS3, and 360; will utilise the CryEngine 3. CE 3, according to benchmarking done thus far, runs on consoles (both xbox and playstation) at an equivalent to the "medium" settings of the CE2 on PC.

Well yeah, if you ever tried that crap in real life, it would take way too long to reload :D Just load up a javelin and kamikazee your way up the ranks. Oh wait, they patched that ridiculous exploit...FINALLY.
It's looks ok, kinda reminds me of Okami graphics, wich are really unique. BUT... the camera is just awful, i can't stand.Hakud0ushi
I loved Afro Samurai; but, I loved the anime as well :)
You do know they released an update that allows you to turn X-axis inversion off, right?
I agree with you, that camera was a bit crazy.
If your going to be in halls then you had better check on the power allocation, my friend was in uni a few years back and she barely had enough power to run her laptop a radio and the kettle all at once..
As far as holidays , you can rent a small storage unit for about £5 a week to keep your puter safe.

Ha, that sounds familiar. At Tech, I brought my custom build, and it blew the breaker in the hall  All I did was turn on the monitor, tower, and 5.1 speaker system. The right side of the dorm hall didn't have power for about 20 minutes.
I like the maps being random, I think it would be unchallenging if you could always play on your favorite level. MercifulKiller
Even knowing that there are dedicated servers on CSS that only host one map all day, every day? CSS has been around for over 10 years and counting now, and still has like 5,000 active servers on a given day. Coming from something like that, I will never be able to jump on board with these new "smart" matchmaking systems.
Here is some proof of a real matchmaking system for you 8)
I was thinking about putting a sound card into my new HP desktop. Will these x-fi cards (or sound cards in general) make a significant difference in games played with a G35 headset (the one that has simulated 7.1 surround sound)?
[QUOTE="markop2003"][QUOTE="JBeasty"]maybe im that much of a newbie but "surround sound headsets" dont make much sense to me lolJBeastyThey're headsets with a bunch of speakers placed around you ear... yea i assumed...but I dont think that would provide the surround sound feeling...thats all
Apparently, they use 3 speakers in each ear plus a deflector plate (in each ear) to reverberate the sound of 7 speakers. Supposedly they work really well for gaming and suitably well for music. I mean, you will never get the same quality of musical sound from a Logitech headset as you would from a Klispch, M-Audio, or Sennheiser headset...
