Even that doesnt look so great though, but it certainly nailed the mood.

In my opinion Uncharted isn't really a good looking game. It's about on par with gears as far as textures go, but the character looks almost unconnected to the world and it's a horribly jagged mess that its just meh to look at

Gears doesn't really have a wow factor either

^ so what is? The next best is probably Kameo.

don't even begin ot spout ratchet. I understand people being subjunctive in graphics, but R&C looks like crap with the exception of like 2 levels

What? Where in my post did I say that games have to be realistic to have technically brillaint graphics? I never said the game wasn't technically great, I just said it wasn't the best. I'm really sick of people jumping to conclusions. It's pathetic :roll:.

But you're imposing that it doesn't look good in a tech sense when you say that.

Heck, if we're going to go by technical stuff let's call Killzone 2 a meh graphics game

I completely agree with you. It doesn't pull a UT3, that's for sure!

Just about gears though- i think it's a good game, but people only view it as awesomesauce because there wasn't really so many good shooters out on the 360, most of us were still playing Halo 2 on our 360s (at least my friends list)
