I think his game may be about an invasion of a human colony by the Flood, and it'll be your job to quarantine and biologically purge this Flood infection by using a variety of chemical and anti-viral means.
WhenTheTwoFace
I believe teh Elites where doing that. Remeber how they were glassing up teh earth surface to prevent the spreading of the flood. Well, that's the Elites' way of doing things. The humans may have different methods. Also, my theory seems to fit the mysterious "Keep it clean" mantra of this game. Having the Flood in your city would make it the exact opposite of "clean". Plus the Flood have a knack for hijacking spaceships and crashing them into new planets/ inhabited colonies for them to infect (referring to the descent of flaming debree in the trailer). could also clean the streets of teh remaining covenant. ALso It would really be a Halo game without the flood. Especially since I don't think Gravemind is dead. ALso I expect it to be a much scarier game coming from the ODST perspective. You might really have to make use of the flash light.Wait, isn't this "expansion" some new levels added to the campaign (still marvelous news, however)?
no. most definately not.
Its a new game, but since it's explaining events that you didnt see in halo or 3 (or maybe some you have, just not from that perspective) its going by the name Halo 3, most like Halo 3: (Subtitle). Its most definately not DLC. Definately a stand alone seperate entity.
Hell, if it weren't, why would I have recieved the message telling me to go to bungie.net/ the marketplace and check out their new game (phrased like that, a new game) when I booted up Halo 3?
Well, then, shouldn't it be released three years after Halo 3, like Halo 3 was released three years after Halo 2? Or maybe this game will be a mini game? ;S
This is not Halo 4 nor is it halo 3.
It's a different game set in the same universe. You most likely play as a ODST marine and you'll explore situations from different views, or as in New Mombasa's case, you'll actually see the stuff go down.
Bungie has said that they have worked on this game since they started Halo 3.
Bungie just has more resources to do these things. They tried another project alongside Halo 2 but that got cancelled essentially due to crunch. They made sure that didn't happen with this and they said, about 2 months ago, it was really starting to pull together.
Is it really so hard to understand?
