never give a girl flowers unless you have been plowing her for more than a year.

nice guys finish last because women view them as pushovers. She will prolly keep you around in case she needs a ride somewhere or someone to do her laundry.

See how happy you are to think a girl that is better than you likes you? Thats the percieved notion, that you dont deserve her... and you love it. But when you are with someone and you think you can do better... thats when the bitter departure happens.

You need to make her think shes lucky to be with you.... then she will be as happy as you are when you show her minor attention. This is all basic human behavior.

Nobody quits a job they think they are lucky to have, they quit jobs they think are beneath them. Right now you are that crappy job, shes sticking with until a better job comes along.

you were forced to goto religious classes at school? was it some sort of catholic school? Otherwise thats totally illegal.

and satanism (i think) isnt legally recognized as an organized religion. A more appropriate question would be "why arent we learning scientology?" unless of course you were taught scientology... which would be lulzy.

lasseeb

Where i live it isnt illegal at all. Just ask someone who lives in Norway... And we havent leard evelution yet, which pisses me off. Maybe next year...

really no separation of church and state?

but you obviously wont learn evolution in a religious class. Evolution is science, religion is fairy tales.

[QUOTE="DRAGONPIECEZ"]

But some things that I pondered: Were the cops within their rights to look in the car?

No, unless they have a warrent, You're not required by any law to allow them to search your vehicle.

The 40s were capped, I thought it was legal to transport alcohol, and also, the car wasn't on.

If you're not allowed to have beer, and you had beer, it doesn't matter if they're capped or if the car was on/off.

Could they have charged my friends and I with something more?? And any advice for my court appearance? Thanks.

Just try to look nice, chances are nothing's going to happen to you.

worlock77

The police don't need a warrant to look inside the cab of a vehicle.

And yeah, it's legal to transport alcohol (assuming it's not an open container), as long as you're old enough to possess it. You aren't.

in my great state of connecticut, its actually legal for every passenger in the car to be doing shots. No open container law here for some weird reason (even though we have some of the strictest dui laws). When i was drunk one time i called the state police and asked the police chief (or some other high ranking officer), he said it was totally legal to funnel beer in the passenger seat.

plain view doctrine, if they can see it through the windows, they can search. Or if the driver is pressured into giving consent.

And the reason you talk to the DA is because hes the one prosecuting you... hes lazy... probably got 20 different cases that morning and he wants no trouble. So you go explain to him the situation he will likely offer you a lesser charge right off the bat (probably ignores you the entire time, just notes your discontent and wants to avoid extra workt).

Basically the goal is to be as difficult as possible, in the justice world your crap is small potatoes... if you get all junior lawyer they just want to spare the trouble and expense to try the case... so they basically give you a plea bargain to make you go away because you arent worth their time. Just be polite, but let them know you think whatever happened was unjust.

If you are in the US you can do youthful offender crap too, which is just some community service (if that) and your case is expunged i believe.

The judge is actually a nonfactor, they will agree to whatever the DA suggests... judges are lazy too.

[QUOTE="ThePlothole"] I would still see that as ditching motion control. As an accessory it would naturally see relatively little support. And there is better motion control technology they could use in the next generation controller.

ThePlothole

Its not really an accessory though, because the wii has such a massive install base... it would just be building on top of the marketshare they already control. It certainly would be better than coming out with a brand new motion controller imo. Someone who spent $300 (or whatever it costs for wiimotes, nunchucks, wii motion plus etc.) Would be alot more likely the buy the new system if their old controllers were supported. But at the same time, by giving them a more traditional controller as part of the pack in you can give them new game experiences in addition to the motion controls they are used to. While at the same time being able to spend more of the manufacturing cost on the actual internal hardware rather than a controller.

The DS, which has a gargantuan install base, is capable of functioning as a controller for Wii games. But I can only think of one game that ever actually supported this option. And beyond this history shows a general reluctance by developers to support controllers that didnt come standard with the console from day one.

thats handheld vs console, two different markets. Ive bought a ridiculous amount of consoles over the years, but have never in my life owned a handheld.

Im not entirely sure what you want? a completely new motion controller for project cafe? if so i can guarantee im not buying it. If you pack in a wiimote... well like most people i didnt spend the money on a wii for high fidelity graphics, so like most people... im not gonna buy a whole new system for better graphics.

Wii owners are not PC gamers that will shell out hundreds of dollars for graphical improvements... if graphics were important, we wouldnt own a wii in the first place. The only sensible conclusion is to offer a new experience without excluding your install base. Devs will keep cranking out the motion control shovelware that people enjoy because its cheap to make and sells a ton.

Everyone knows PC couldnt possibly run KZ3, this is basic fact.

it has something to do with the billboards in mlb the show.

Not sure why this concept is so difficult to grasp for PC gamers.

[QUOTE="ThePlothole"]So then I'm not a real gamer because I actually like motion controls?epicstory

Not a hardcore gamer, no.

What is this nonsense, I consider myself a real gamer but i like motion controls. Not as a standard... but wii sports and dance central have been a ton of fun at parties.

None of my friends want to come over and watch me sit at my computer screen with a headset on.... there is a time and a place for both types of gaming imo.

agreed, it would be a massive slap in the face for folks that bought 4 wii controllers with 4 motion plus accessories.

But they should use a standard controller as the pack in controller and just offer motion support for wii controllers imo.
