well, actually you know what? forget about the switch, because i already have the hdmi to dvi cable...so that would be a waste of money... i really need something that lets me plug 2 dvi-d at the same time...something like what you showed me but for dvi instead of hdmi. i found one but only for dvi-i, i need one for dvi-d

no, i made a mistake...i dont have hdmi on my 360 so its plugged in vga, its my pc that's plugged in dvi...so i cannot plug my pc in this adaptor, unless i would buy a dvi to hdmi adaptor and then plug that adaptor in the switch you just showed me...but that makes lots of adaptor lol but would it work ? i think so but i wanna make sure...

Your monitor has to be HDCP compliant i believe. If it is get a hdmi to dvi converter

TehSonofUgly
my monitor is HDCP i have my 360 plugged in at 1680x1050 and the res is fantastic i also plugged my ps3 in 1080p and it actually is in 1920x1080 even though my monitor is only 1680x1050 and i dont see any cropped lines or out of places hud or wathever, the picture is crystal clear :) i just need to find a damn adaptor, i dont wanna change the ps3 and 360 cables every time, thats annoying as hell.

Hi guys i have a pc monitor that have 1 vga and 1 dvi input

right now i have my pc plugged in vga and my 360 plugged in dvi

is it possible for me to plug my ps3 with a hdmi to dvi cable without having to unplug the 360 everytime ?

is there some kind of adaptor that let you plug more than 1 dvi cable to the same input ?

thx in advance

[QUOTE="SolidSnakeJT"]

with 1200$us you can have a very powerfull pc, mine costs me only 900$can and i can play batman arkham asylum MAXED OUT 1680x1050 at avg 54fps

i can also play crysis maxed out at 1200x900 with avg 40fps, or any recent games in average beteween 40-60 all maxed out

anyway my rig is :

intel core2 duo 3.16

2g ram

ati hd4870 512meg

2tb hdd

22inch samsung syncmaster 2253bw

Slig0

No you can't max out Crysis at that res, not even at high with that graphics card. I can only bump the res to 1680x1050 on Very High with no AA until it starts lagging. And my CPU currently works at 3.7, and Crysis uses two cores so they would be even faster than your CPU.

Since I had to put out the parts of my rig from my sig, my card is 4890. Reverting to old sig soon...

well, i can tell you it does, belive it or not...but i think it was more like 30fps not 40fps...anyway i dont have the game installed but otherwise id post a pic.

i should also specify, i play maxed out but without aa..anyway at high res AA doesnt do enough for the fps drops

thx for the replies, but anybody actually have 3d vision and can give me their opinions ?

because i say this for 3d vision but also for physx, i really like the effects physx can provide, it gives more immersion.
