At the very least, a "Tripping: On/Off" in Extra Options. I guarantee it.

In the meantime, we have "No tripping" hacks at tournies and an honor system anywhere else. Certainly, it's a stupid feature, but it ain't game-breaking.

Game breaking or not, great game competitively or not, Nintendo has made it clear who they're trying to appeal to.

Glitchspot removed the quote.

The question is, did you read mine? If tripping is the only problem (and I know it isn't, but the rest really comes down to preference), then that's an easy fix, whether they remove it in the next game or not.

Tsug_Ze_Wind

Yes, and I have absolutely no reason to believe they'll remove it.

Whoa, I didn't think you'd just admit that. :o

Admit to what? Did you bother reading my comment?

You mean greatly improving the series, mirite? ;)

Even if simplifying the series made it better, tripping makes it quite clear what Nintendo is aiming for.

I already have one, but if I didn't it'd be the first party games which have always been the main reason I bought Nintendo's systems. Galaxy didn't have enough of the traditional platforming action that Sunshine and Mario 64 had for me, Twilight Princess's dungeons aren't as well designed as the previous ones in my opinion and it was too linear although that doesn't really matter, because the sidequests are lacking and aren't as well crafted when compared to previous Zeldas, and Brawl's online was garbage and the gameplay was a huge step down from Melee competitively and, in my opinion casually as well.

Brawl. The online was absolute garbage, it's riddled with lag, disconnection issues, and there's those stupid friend codes. I mean they've messing around with online since the SNES era and had plenty of other good online services to look to. They should've gotten it down by now, seriously. And the gameplay was a huge step down from Melee competitively and, in my opinion, casually as well, I couldn't care less about all the newer items and the extra obstacle ridden stages.

Gears of War 2. The campaign was boring as hell for me, it's like the developers all got drunk and decided to place cover all over the place randomly without giving it any thought, just look at the worm level. The original had a better campaign in my opinion. And the multiplayer sucks, the way you join a match that is, I'm freaking tired of matchmaking, give me a server list.

Been gaming since as long as I can remember.

Best memory.

Before the internet became popular.

Worst memory.

Once the internet became popular. To many hackers, glitchers, trash talkers, cursing, slang and the whole lot of other bad things.

Games were alot more fun back then...

Truth_Hurts_U

Plenty of people still play games offline.

My greatest gaming memory would have to be playing SSBM in a van with my friends. I don't remember what we used to for support but we played on one seat with a TV and a Cube on the other one infront of us. Infact, that reminds me of this upcoming tournament where buses are going to be used as one of the methods of transportion to get there, but they're going to be rigged to play games all the way to the tournament.

insert 7 day ban words here Ugh and sigh... You know you're part of the problem right?poster

Most of the matches I had one that map was on the USMC team. Anyway, jacking the ship wasn't easy, that was the only successful attempt I made. But I'll admit I wouldn't want to be on the recieving end of what I did.
