Why? He could run it at high at 1080p with No AA, hell even medium No AA 1080p is still better than consoels, plus you get higher possible framerates and mouse aiming. It's not all about MAXED OUT graphics.
You made some mistakes redweed, don't feel bad though, they're common ones.
First, you went balls-out and emptied your wallet for a Crysis rig, the end result of that would turn many people off to PC Gaming.
Second, you seem to be out of touch with current PC Gaming and the overall scope of it. You have to realize that even with modest, cheap gaming rigs, you can play games at much higher framerates (40-60fps) at resolutions and settings much better than consoles (since alot of console games aren't even the minimum 720p, for instance, Black Ops 2 Console version runs at 880x700 as opposed to 1280x720 AKA 720p) because even medium settings at 1280x720 is still a big improvement over consoles and requires a modest rig only. We're talking 350-400 euros only on a rig. Even so, parts have actually dropped alot in price, 1080p 50-60fps gaming can be achieved on computers in the 600-800 euro range. Not to mention your PC will have better control options than a console and can use uber-accurate mouse aiming. PC also does literally everything in the multimedia and internet realm and does far more extra roles than any console.
Third, Far Cry 3 is not only less pretty on the console version, it runs pretty badly at 20-25 fps at times which can be choppy enough to cause headaches. The PC version also doesn't run as smoothly as it could but at appropriate settings for a mid level computer it can run at much more comfortable 30-45 at least (reviews and pre-release benchmarks).
How tedious is the grinding system? F2P means they make that even more insufferable than usual since that's essentially the entire business model. If you pay $15 a month you get a 25-50% boost, so I expect it's real terrible.
Also, **** paying $40 for beta access to a game that'll be free.

You get unlock points every 250 points in a game where a kill is 100 points. Yeah, REALLY INSUFFERABLE!!! Try criticizing the game AFTER you know something about the specifics of it.
For all those saying Planetside 2 offers massive battles and nothing else, try sneaking into enemy territory to a base that is currently low on activity you will have small battles. The point is that Planetside 2 has everything, console games generally ONLY have small battles, PC games focus on both effectively. Good smal lbattles + Good Large Battles>>>>>>>>>>Decent small battles

Amazing game from 2007 > Loads of mediocre games from 2012. Lots of Sony fanboys still use MGS4 in arguments, and I don't necessarily think its invalid just because its old, but then again console gamers have such short attention spans I would expect them to not care about a game after a year.
