I'm going to go with this, with the exception of Super Mario World, I prefer the 2D sonic Games.
However Sonic CD is considered to be one of the best Sonic games, sadly it's on the Sega CD and very few people got to play it back in the day.
But Mario transitioned to 3D much better than Sonic. I dont think any of the 3D Sonics are worth playing at all.....unless you're looking for a good laugh
I’m really hoping this game turns out well because I really dig the look of it.
I hope so too, but It's made by the God Eater team.....and I've tried playing the God eater series and the games are awful. Horrible cliche anime story and characters, and the UI and level system was utter chaos
While I'll never use it, this is a step in the right direction.
If consoles are going to move to an all digital future, there are going to have to be multiple stores to be able to buy and download games. I don't want to be forced to buy from one store.
More damage control I see......it has 36 mixed reviews on Metacritic and according to many posters here who had hated on Xbox games like Quantum Break & Sunset Overdrive, which had higher scores, those games were trash but guess what Days Gone is an exception because some posters need to let us know that in this case, the reviews got it wrong. Ok
Lol yeah... I brought up this point in another thread. It's funny how the reviews are wrong about Days Gone, but games like Quantum Break or Sea of Thieves etc, are 100% spot on.
Anyway if people are enjoying it, good for them.
It all comes down to personal taste, and I feel like some games are geared towards certain reviewers/people.
I've seen mixed reception on Days Gone, and games like Sunset Over drive. I would love for Overdrive to be on PS4, to me it looks like my kind of game.
I'm on the fence about days gone, I've watched multiple reviews and gameplay vids and it looks like my kind of game, but I think I'm gonna wait until the game is $30. Hopefully by then it'll have some patches to fix it a little more as well.
Im starting to think some of the reviews for Days Gone are way off, a 5 means a game has glaring flaws and might have some game breaking bugs.
I watched the completionist review and he said that while the game starts off slow and feels generic, once you play it for a while the game starts to shine with it's own uniqueness and flavor.
Makes me think the reviewers are only playing for a couple of hours and focusing too much on story.
Holy crap, a 5 ?. At least the metascore is above 70. Hopefully Bend doesn't get shut down.
The reviews on this one are so mixed.
I think it goes to show you that review scores are just opinions, and that it may not reflect your preference to a game.
Reading the GS review felt more like a book or movie review, not a lot about graphics, gameplay, level design, or sound. Lots of stuff about character development and story. It didn't feel like a game review to me.
I think Days Gone is an average to Good game, which I think a meta of around 70 reflects. Not for everyone but it's fun for some.
It's not a bad console now. It's had tons of discounts, bundles, and game pass is a really great idea. Some people prefer the controller and online service, plus it is a 4k blu ray player.
Not a bad console, but not nearly as good as the PS4 or the Switch. It's like PS1 vs N64. Neither are bad, but one just did way better.
I just finished it. I would say the game is good, but definitely over rated.
In terms of characters I thought they were not likeable (especially Nico her dialogue was really bad)
I really enjoyed Dantes section. The second half of the game is a lot better than the first half. The game was way too easy. I beat the game without using a yellow orb. In terms of enemies I believe it lacked variety.
I did not mind the story, unfortunately a thumbnail and title of a YouTube vido which popped up in recommendations spoiled a major plot twist which made me really angry.
I agree, I'm having a hard time getting through the game right now, not because it is hard but because some of the dialogue is horrible and V is horrible to play as.
The core game play is great! But the level design and lack of puzzles is hurting the experience for me.
Not a bad game, but more in the 7-8 range rather than the 9+ I've seen all over gaming sights. Wish I would have waited for a price drop or picked up Sekiro instead.
