Ebil Microsoft hates gamers. They opress game devs into making GaaS, DLC, lootbox microtransaction trash. Activision, come save us!!!

Honestly, Nintendo's games are just to simple for me. I bought a Nintendo Switch 3 months ago with Zelda and Mario Odyssey, and I've barely touched them. Its hard to play a game like Red Dead Redemption 2, or God of War, then boot up Zelda after that.
Basically, take RDR2, or any Rockstar game, or any open world game for that matter. Take all of its negative parts, like being repettitive, etc..... Now remove the deep narrative and story from RDR (the thing that makes you endure the boring parts), and thats Zelda.
Nintendo's games are too simple narrative wise. Its like playing a phone game. Good to pick up and play in short bursts, but nothing that will keep you engaged for hours upon hours, in the way of narrative at least.
@goldenelementxl:
I mean, they're "fake", but they're not really THAT fake tbh. Its not like this rumor is that removed from all the other rumors we've already heard about the PS5 already. We know they're targeting 1080ti performance, we know its using Navi and Zen 2, etc.
At this point, this thing is a "PS5" in name only.
If anything, they're only hurting themselves in the long run by not just calling this platform (which is absolutely just a PS4 Pro 2) a PS4 Pro 2, and leaving themselves room for a proper "Playstation 5" down the line, when theres an actual leap.
can't expect to much from an indie developer , POE Deadfire is a great RPG and hopefully with Microsoft help they can properly market their games
No way MS will put them to make an isometric RPG, MS are all about pursuing blockbusters so I assume they will be making something completely different like a battle royale game lol.
nope , not a battle a royale , just a new great RPG
Doubt it, where is MS record there? Fable? lol
Well, theres....
KOTOR 1 and Mass Effect 1, both above 90 on metacritic.
( The first Mass Effect was funded and published by MS before EA bought bioware out from under them. They were heavily rumored to be purchased by Microsoft during this era. )
Then theres KOTOR 2 (86 on meta), which was actually developed by Obsidian.
Three high profile cult classics. That was easy.
Am I the only one who doesnt see the correlation between the 3 screenshots in the OP, and whatever criteria OP is supposed to be using to describe "movie games"?
A close up of a character model?
We get it OP, you're still butthurt from people relentlessly (and correctly) mocking Sony last gen for making movie games. Apparently the people criticizing Sony were correct, considering that Sony's biggest studios this gen, NaughtyDog and Santa Monica Studios for example, responded to that criticism by DRASTICALLY departing from their old formulas for their most recent releases, and were rewarded hansomly for it, in both critical reception and sales. Very few of you would prefer the old Uncharted and God of War formulas, over the current ones.
If it werent for our mockery, instead of playing Horizon Zero Dawn, Guerrilla Games would still be machine gun shitting out Killzone games, and you Cows would still be forced to pretend you enjoy playing them, like you were last gen. You're welcome for that by the way.
We get that Lems bullied you last gen, and you want revenge, even though you ultimately benefited from their bullying. But you dont need to keep making new threads about this shit every day.
TC didnt include Gears 5 in the xbox poll, but listed every A-B level Sony game he could think of?
Thats quite the odd omission for a list that includes Days Gone, Dreams, and a remastered PSOne game. (Cows dont like old games)
A console that came out in 2013 that uses a dumbed down (to less than half of the original power)version of a laptop gpu from 2011?
Sounds about right. Phones were already approaching 360/PS3 at this point in their lifecycles.
